I spend far more time nowadays on Facebook than on the WG? forums, but while on WG? today I noticed a thread I'd forgotten about called "What are you currently reading?" It's in the Mad Mad Mad forum. I used to post there but haven't checked it out in ages. Do people use it regularly, and maybe we could post something about this group there?

I used to post to that thread ages ago. Between work and post volume I could never keep up and now I just do not spend time on the WG forums like the old days.
I see no reason why you can not mention this group there. But then we might need more moderators here (and I'll help with that if needed).

I have said something there before, but no one had commented. I started this because I was getting more WG? friends on Goodreads, and thought it would be fun.
I'm on Facebook more than WG? Forums, but I'm trying to go over and answer the GTKYFG so I recognize names at STL8.

Ronald, I went ahead and made you a moderator as well. I don't expect too many rowdy people over here, but it is good to help out!

Ok, I will try and not let the power go to my head. But more importantly I have to be careful because the delete button is now next to the reply button on all posts! ;-)

I'm sure I saw somewhere on the WG? forums that Hank will close threads in the Mad Mad forum after they reach a certain number of posts because it slows down the whole site. We can only hope people will move over here then! I invited some WG?/FB friends who are members both here & there to join this site, but they haven't so far. I'd like to see this grow too.
I know many think they don't have time, but I enjoy seeing the different book groups and found great books to read that way.

Wow! Thank you!
I used to go to that thread also when I was active in the Forums. It gave me ideas of books to take out of the library.
I don't often look at that one because it's sometimes hard to keep up. Being here though, I can check out what others are reading and immediately get a link to see if it's interesting and mark it as 'To Read'.I'm aces1820 from the forums (not sure if my username shows up anywhere here or just my first name), and unlike on the forums, the dog in my picture here is actually mine.
