Ember as usual was reading a book, sitting on her knees in the desk.

"What? Oh um... The fourth book this this amazing series... I'd rant but I'm at this part where the heroin.." she looked back at the book and was lost.

She close the book when the teacher came in.

The teacher was a substitute. Ember slipped out her sketch book.

The bell rang and Ember jumped up and gathered her things. "You know how great it is to have 2 art classes and creative writing all in a row, I love it."

"Then there's the dreaded math." She added as she walk out of the room.

"You guys are the reason I past it last year." Ember ducked her head as her crush past her.

"It's Kristopher. ..and it's never gonna happen." Ember said starring at the floor.

She shook her head. "He doesn't even know who I am. I almost prefer to keep it that way. I wouldn't be able to talk to to him anyway."

"See ya in Writing." she called as she tuned into another hall way.

Ember went to her class and cracked open her book again before class started.
