Kathy | 18 comments So I decided to read one of my old DS9 books to see if it's still a keeper after my last library purge. I was expecting to give it up but much to my surprise, it's a rich narrative.

I am a huge Michael Jan Friedman fan. He tends to hit my sweet spot of the balance between character development and plot.

Ben Guilfoy | 33 comments I haven't read this one, but I'll agree about Friedman. His run writing the DC comics series was pretty awesome, too.

David (daviz) | 65 comments I've read some of the DS9 books during the last year or so & just yesterday I got one form the local library that I'd reserved online a week or two ago. It's called 'These Haunted Seas'. An omnibus edition of four DS9 relaunch novels. Dan gave me some information on it. It will be a couple of weeks yet before I'll be able to make a start on it though. I shall probably have to renew it several times as well.

I've seen many of the programmes on TV as well.
