Star Trek Reads discussion

So I decided to read one of my old DS9 books to see if it's still a keeper after my last library purge. I was expecting to give it up but much to my surprise, it's a rich narrative.

I am a huge Michael Jan Friedman fan. He tends to hit my sweet spot of the balance between character development and plot.

I haven't read this one, but I'll agree about Friedman. His run writing the DC comics series was pretty awesome, too.

I've read some of the DS9 books during the last year or so & just yesterday I got one form the local library that I'd reserved online a week or two ago. It's called 'These Haunted Seas'. An omnibus edition of four DS9 relaunch novels. Dan gave me some information on it. It will be a couple of weeks yet before I'll be able to make a start on it though. I shall probably have to renew it several times as well.

I've seen many of the programmes on TV as well.
