Haidi My fav movie is a movie called "A lot like love" it has Ashton Kutcher in it.

I love it because it just seems so believable and real and its funny and my favourite scene is when they are in the car and shes upset and he starts to sing a song off the radio and sticks two straws up his nose to try and make her laugh, and it works and they both end up singing the song thats playing on the radio and laughing their heads off.

The Hurt Locker. If you've seen it then i doubt i'll have to explain what's so great about it but if you haven't, its a brilliant film that puts you right in the shoes of the soldiers and is a great exploration of the impact of war on not only soldiers but also civilians. Its well deserving of the Oscar it got for Best Picture.
Its hard to pick a favourite because theres so many powerful scenes in the film but i think it would probably have to be near the end where Sgt James can't save an Iraqi civilian who has had a bomb forced on him and simply wants to go home to his family. Its a harsh reminder of the reality of modern warfare and it kills me everytime.

My favorite movie is probably Red Riding Hood because I love the Gothic atmosphere around it. I love Gothic Romance movies and books. :) My favorite scene would have to be at the end when Valerie discovers who the wolf is.

Anna (SylviaGrant) | 91 comments Life Is Beautiful: It's worth watching several times but not in the same week, it should be watched by everyone. Just because it's a comedy that has subtitles and it's about the holocuast shouldn't turn you off!!!

Ziyue (ziyue13) There's so many to chose from! It would either have to be the hunger games or red riding hood. They're both action packed and have some romance in them. Favorite scene from red riding hood would be when Valerie finds oh who the wolf is (same scene as evelyn picked).Favorite scene from the hunger games would be when Katniss shoots her arrow into the apple in the pig's mouth.
