My YA Obsession discussion

Ok so I just finsished Insurgent (Divergent 2) and loved it, but now I'm kind of lost and don't know what to read next. I love the Dystopian series (Hunger Games, Matched, Delirium, etc.) but also like girly Sarah Dessen type books lol so if you have any reccomendations please tell me!

Ashes by Ilsa J. Bick and Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater were both really good. I also love the ones you have listed, so you should like these.

I just got done reading Die for Me and I loved it! I have also read Delirium and Pandemonium and loved them so you should like that one. I have also read Wither and Fever which happen to be my favorite trilogy so far! If you haven't read them I would definitely recommend them!

The selection by kiera cass. I thought that was amazing!

Thanks Crystal I already read Delirium and Pandemonium but that other one sounds really good. Has anyone read "Across the Universe"? It looks pretty interesting.

this is a good book. Such an amazing love story and a bit mystery.

Kissed by an Angel looks really good but I think it might be one of thoose books where I read it, cry uncontorollably and question my existence for the rest of the week :)

Yeah I cry a lot at books and movies. I bawl uncontrollably when Jack dies in Titanic lol.

I'm fairly picky about Dystopian, but I loooved Delirium,Divergent/Insurgent, and yesterday I read Under the Never Sky... which was FANTASTIC. :]

YES Across the Universe is SO GOOD, but in a different way than Delirium/Divergent/etc.

Under the Never Sky is amazing! Also Almost by Anne Eliot, Set in Stone by Beth Ballamo, Here by Ella James. Pride's Run is really good as well. Oh, and Stained also by Ela James.

Hourglass by Myra McEntire is a really good read!

Very new but getting great reviews! Definitely in the dystopian genre.

Read Legend by Marie Lu!!!!!! It's kinda like Divergent and is AMAZING!!!!!! PLEASE READ IT!!!!

I also really love the Shiver series by Maggie Stiefvater, it's kind of like Twilight, but much better written and a better story line, and just better in general

Yeah I read the first Shiver book and had no desire to read the second. It was boring to me. I guess it's just personal preference.

I read Maggie Stiefvater's Lament: The Faerie Queen's Deception and didn't care for it. I never read Shiver, should I give her a 2nd chance?

I justed finished both Divergent and Insurgent and I loved them both. My other new favorite is

Read The Last Song. It's a bit like Sarah Dessen's books and it made me cry ><
As a dystopian, I recommend reading Wither. I just couldn't put this book down... It's one of my favorite books ever.

That's so funny. I downloaded the last song this afternoon and then like 10 minutes later I saw you reccomend it. Thanks for the dystopian reccomendations but I've been reading so many lately I just need a tearjerker :)

Sorry, I'm kinda hyper.....yeah;)

The House of Night books are really good... If you have alot of time on your hands. But my favorite books are the Everlost trilogy. :)

just a short read.. it's a good story. :)

i'm gradually coming to love this book as i make my way through. i was worried it wasn't going to be as good as everyone said it was...trust issues.
