Doug do you know much about French Symbolists? I'm not familiar with that at all. You can open a new thread if you need/want to... Or you could just do a review of your French Symbolist book, but please do the review in English! ;)
Picasso’s famous “Dove of Peace” (from his "back of a napkin series") had politicos and critics thinking it would become a universal logo symbolizing peace. The public didn’t see it that way. It appeared all over the place for a while to mountains of praise and analytical pseudo intellectual drivel until it's popularity waned.

This sort of "nothing art" when praised to the sky by idiot critics is the reason so many people have little interest in what is considered great modern art.

I have to agree with Poly on this one. Thank you for saying that, Poly. I think that many people would agree with you but be too embarrassed to say anything because it is considered 'fine art'.

I have this drawing on a Picasso's rare book that my father gave to me on my 16th birthday as a gift."
That would be really neat to have a rare art book, Luis. What year was it published? Just curious.
