Diane | 13052 comments I travel a lot through books, but not nearly as much as I would like in real life. I know many of you do travel a lot and I would love to know what trips and adventures you have planned (so we can live vicariously through you).

I will be traveling to Costa Rica and Nicaragua next month and am beside myself with excitement! What places will you be traveling to next?

Book Club Reading List (bookclubreadinglist) | 3 comments If anyone is planning a trip to Prague, there's a free self-guided tour based upon The God Complex that you can download on the book's website. It takes you to the main tourist attractions, as well as the places frequented by characters in the book.

Jan Moran (janmoran) | 13 comments Hi Diane, Linda, and Dee,
Heard Costa Rica is tabulous--please share your trip with us!
I just returned from Paris and Copenhagen--the first books I wrote have been turned into content for software for Sephora stores, so when I can, I travel to new country openings. Unfortunately, I'll miss the Brazil opening in June, and I've always wanted to go there! However, I adored Denmark--so friendly!--and Paris has had my heart for a long time. That's where part of my novel Scent of Triumph is set--it's about a female French perfumer, a rarity in the 1940s.
Happy travels to all of you! Happy to share travel tips and stories. I also have a cool travel app on my FB at JanMoranAuthor.

My husband and I have traveled with them before (BC 2012, Italy 2011) but it will be 500% more relaxing without them this time.

We're trying to figure out how to get to San Marino from Venice. Everybody says there's no train, but there seems to be a train listed.

You must go to Rimini, this is the nearest railway station; then you must take a bus from Rimini to San Marino (it is not far away).

I add you the link of the Italian trains http://www.trenitalia.com/cms/v/index... (I think that from Venice to Rimini you must choose "passes" because there are all the trains; in "tickets" you find only the new trains)
and here is a site how to go from Rimini to San Marino with the bus: http://www.riminiturismo.it/1744/36/O...

message 39: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (jessica_peter) I thought I wouldn't have any travels for a while since I'm back in school doing my Master's, and money is tight. . .but then I get an interesting request from my dad: "Girls, I'm renting a trailer on the ocean in Key Largo for February. Would you like me to get you some cheap flights down here for a week or so?"

Yes please! Key Largo here I come, February 18. :D

Morgan - if you have time you should take a quick trip to Northern Ireland too - it's so close to Scotland, very beautiful and with a rich ancient history and fascinating recent history. I can recommend some places to visit and things to do if you do decide to go.

Vietnam, Colombia, Iceland, Argentina, Laos and Spain are some of my favourites. Antarctica is gorgeous. I love writing travel-fiction....I prefer it than writing about my actual adventures. Those stories are just for my friends and family.
