Barbara Tarn (barbaragtarn) I've seen on Author Central that I should put my books on Shelfari. OK, I know Shelfari is Goodreads equivalent but it's tied to Amazon!
My question is for authors who have one or more pen-names: did you sign up with Shelfari and with which account?
I ask because on Amazon I use my real name, so even when I upload on KDP I use the same account for all my 3 pen-names, and I set up my 3 pen-names Author Central pages from my real name account...
So how do you suggest I sign up on Shelfari and is it worth it? Did they really increase your sales or is it another way for Amazon to lure authors?
Thanks!

Ottilie (ottilie_weber) | 474 comments It automatically goes with withatever account you have with Amazon, but then i think you can say you go under a pen name, because I know when I log in it says Ottilie, instead of my real name, but all the log in stuff is my real account stuff. I'm not on there enough to knowo if it helps, I'm hoping ths summer to get a little better witht his stuff.

India Drummond (indiadrummond) Shelfari is quite interesting, actually. I signed up with it and made sure my books had descriptions and a few relevant fields like "first line of the book" or "main characters". Then I signed up to be notified when someone else updates one of my books' listings. I have to admit, it's really cool when I get a notice saying someone added locations or character detail.

I don't hang out at Shelfari, but there's no reason *not* to list your books there.

Justin (justinbienvenue) I've been using Shelfari for a little while now. They have a feature where you can add information on books, so I did it for my books. I know it's a bit unconventional but who better to give readers a bit more on the book then the author? Also I have started taking part in adding books to my shelf(love how it shows the actual book on a shelf) and participating in groups and discussions.
It's a nice site to use, but goodreads is still my favorite.

Eisah Eisah | 22 comments I use Shelfari to list my books as well as add reviews for other books I read. I don't hang out on it a lot, but I don't see any reason not to use it. It only takes a minute to add something.

It does have some nice features. I like being able to add tags.
