Morgan walked in no books in hand but with a fashion magazine and her little purse

"Hey, we waiting for more students to get started with math things?" she asked taking a seat near the window and putting her manicured feet ontop of the desk outstretching her legs

"Ya, dont want to seem like a nerd." she crunched up her nose

"Well, thanks...i guess." she shurrged and she searched in her bag for a magazine

Justine walked in--late--and quickly slid into her usual seat in the back of the class...where the teacher couldn't see her working on her novel. She immediately opened her battered composition notebook and whipped out a sparkly pencil to write with.

Morgan looked at the girl who walked in and called out to her "Hey! Finally someone else is in class." she said relif in her eyes

Morgan's eyes then trailed to another new comer "Katie come sit next to me, i dont want to be all alone." she patted the chair next to her

Justine walked over to Morgan. "Hey," she said, smiling. When she noticed Katie, she greeted her as well.

"Wait, what's your name again?" Justine asked Katie. "Soooo sorry I forgot, but I'm like that." She shrugged.

"Hey how about you sit here too." she suggested to Justine, then turned back to Katie "Hey." she said with a smile

"Oh, thanks, Katie! I've always loved that name." She smiled. Then she added, to Morgan, "'Kay, lemme get my stuff and I'll move over here." (Which is what she did.) :)

"A test already!" she exclaimed but took the paper

Justine groaned, turning slightly pale. After all, this was the class she had failed.

Morgan had seen Justine's face and whispered to her "No worries, we'll fail together." she said with a wink and put her feet back on the desk reviewing the paper

Justine smiled back, shrugging and tossing her notebook under her.

Justine looked at the first question, didn't understand half the mathematical terms it used, and finally wrote down the first number that came to mind: 4 million.

The correct answer was 1.25.

Morgan flipped back to the first page and wrote her name in curvy cute writing topping it with a heart before she started on the last page, which was all she understood

Justine scanned the next question. What the...?
She scribbled the words "I DON'T KNOW!!" where the answer should have gone.
This was hopeless.

Justine looked at Katie in shock. No way, she mouthed as she penned a question mark to yet another question.

Morgan sighed and called the teacher "This is useless." she said as she got up to hand the teacher her uncompleted test

"I don't know anything, like what's.." she said looking at a question "What in the world is the formula for area? I came here to learn this because i wasnt listening or was skipping this class." she said annoyed

"Go, Morgan," Justine whispered. "Hey," she said, a little louder. "I think I'll turn in my test, too. 'Cause how am I supposed to know how to divide fractions?" She handed the test to the teacher, then rushed back to her seat, knowing she'd be in so much trouble with her parents.

Morgan laughed "You go girl, whoop!" she laughed and held out her hand to be high0fived

Justine laughed and high-fived her back, ignoring the teacher's disapproving looks.

"Show the teacher whos really the boss." she whispered to Justine with a evil grin

"Well, actually...I just, um, couldn't do the test," Justine whispered back. "I'm not really a...rebel or anything."

"Well it didnt look like that but dont worry."

Justine blushed and shrugged. When she felt her cheeks growing hot, she groaned. "No, no, NOOOOOOO. I'm blushing again. Do you know how often this happens to me! All the time." She covered her cheeks with her hands.

"It's okay gives you some pretty colours in your face." she complimented

"Well, thanks," she said--her cheeks turning even redder. "I need to see a doctor. Isn't there a medical condition where you can blush too much?"

Morgan chuckled "I don't think so."

(((Actually, there is. "Idiopathic craniofacial erythema." LOL. :) )))


"Hm. Well aren't you lucky. I've never seen you blush!" she said, digging the toe of her shoe into the ground.

"Not much of a blusher." she grinned

"Um, no, sorry," Justine said...characteristic blush on full force.

"Nothing going on." she replied turning around in her seat

"Whatever you say teach." she said taking out her magazine and flipping through it

Devon walked into the room and sat down beside two girls, "Hey! Names Devon!" she said sticking her hand out to them, smiling.

"Morgan." she said smiling back at her and giving her hand a squeeze.

"Hiya, Devon," Justine said, smiling.

Jared sauntered into the half full room...mainly girls he noted...and sat down in a chair a bit away from the others. He got out his already completed math book, he'd done the lesson this morning so he'd have some time to get used to the new school.

"Hey Guys." she said to the new comers "I'm Morgan, you guys ready to party in this clas room!?" she asked

"Okay. chill girlfriend no one will sit in your seat." she said putting her hands upi surrend

Morgan grinned 'action on the first day.' she said to herself

"But of course, anything for ya miss." she said getting up from her seat and walking to the teacher. "What can i do ya for?" she said smiling

Morgan laughed "Don't worry teach, I can defend myself." she reassured ehr and walked back to her desk

"Will do." she said sitting with her long legs crossed on the chair

Morgan looked shocked "I got 100? You sure? Maybe you counted wrong."

"That's crazy." she said still in shock it was the first time she ever got 100% in any test "Don't get used to it." she warned the teacher "I won't be getting these kinds of grades."
