✎☯✎ This Is My Life Challenge ✎☯✎January 1st to December 31st
Back To Top
Nothing interesting has happened in my life so far so this is all I've got.
Birth:
Because it was published in 1997, the year I was born.
Age One – Four:
Because it is about faeries and I always used to dress up as one when I was very small.
Age Five:
Because I became a big sister when I was five. It wasn't as delightful as I'd hoped it would be though!
Age Six – Seven:
Because I could speak Welsh almost properly by then.
Age Eight – Ten:
Because when I was 8 I fell in love with the Harry Potter Books and reading in general and continued to obsess over them until I was about 11.
Age Eleven:
Because I read the first book in the series and decided James Patterson was my second favourite author.
Age Twelve - Thirteen:
I got a bit sucked up into the whole vampire thing and reas all the Twilight books along with the Morganville Vampires.
Age Fourteen:
During the whole year that I fourteen I read ... 33(!) YA dystopia books and loved them all!
Age Fifteen
I'm the same age as Charile was at the beginning of the novel and would be starting in High School this year if I lived in the US. As it is school has changed a load for me anyway and I'm trying not to just observe so much and to sctually join in more now, like Charlie.

I'm going to join you for the Queen's jubilee challenge because I like that one. I'm not a member of the Commonwealth but I would love to, so I count myself in, if that is alright ;).edit: Where did you find the May Colour Challenge?
On one of my other groups called We ♥ YA Books http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/6...The thing about picking colours from crayons or something wasn't officially part of the challenge but quite a few people are doing that since someone suggested it.
I will let a friend pick my colours, otherwise I'll end up with five green crayons ;), but I'll join you for that too. Great ideas, I like fun challenges :).
Lilac, how do you link to specific messages in your thread??? I can not figure it out! Your corner is so nicely organized with links and everything; it's amazing! I want to know how to do that! haha. ;)
To the right of where it says "message ##: name" of the post you want to link to there is the date/time it was posted. If you click on the date/time it's also a link and won't take you to a new page but it will change the URL slightly so then you just copy paste the new url into your link thing (don't know what it's called but it's found in the (some html is ok) pop out). Hope it helped :) I'm not good at explaining lol

Hey Lilac, what did you think of The Lost Boy: A Foster Child's Search for the Love of a Family? I read A Child Called "It" a few months ago and it was totally brutal, I almost didn't finish it. I've been debating reading the rest of the series.
I accidently read that book first so I had no idea what all the flashbacks were about untill I read A Child Called "It" but if I'd read them in the right order it would have made more sense and I'd have enjoyed it more. To be honest I did find it boring but I was only 9 at the time so I wanted more excitement of course. It was definitely nowhere near as horrible as the first one if that's all your worried about but it wasn't exactly pleasant either. I guess it just depends on what sort of books you like.
