Hey Nikki, with all of the craziness of the Holidays (plus I got strep throat from my step-daughter...that was a treat), I might be a couple days late. No worries, it will be there. Crappy self-portrait and all.

I received my card and I love it. I wussed out and didn't do the self-portrait. I have no idea who is sending me postcards, but just so you know, I have loved all of them.

Anyway, I didn't do a self-portrait either, but I AM sending Michele a mix cd I made, which is a much better portrait of who I am than any abominable picture I might try to draw.

Mindy - the German poem was from me. It's actually a lovely folk song. I'd translate it for you but I cannot find it again in my book! Send it to me if you like.

Nah, I can type it into Google Translate and figure out what it says. Too bad I learned French...

(Just kidding about that, I much prefer the Latin languages to the Germanic. Less gutteral!)
