I absolutely loved this book! And Augustus was so different from a lot of the other guys I've read about in YA novels. It was...refreshing. He's pretty amazing.
I agree with you Erin. He's 'different' from most of the characters who are way too shallow to make me sympathise with them. I was so touched by who he is. I was able to see beyond the 'sick boy'. I prefer him to the 'perfect hot' characters.
He was gorgeous, as well as incredibly intelligent- he is honestly one of my favorite book boys. Just wish he didn't have that one hamartia...
I totally loved Augustus, he's one of my favorites characters (if not my favorite) he was so funny and intelligent and his metaphors were kinda cute. I loved him.
He had to be my favorite character. He was funny and a great friend. His jokes and actions made me laugh, cry and want more. The book was sad but entertaining in a weird way. I cried my eyes out when he died :(
