I do events mainly to meet people, then to sell books, and to network.

LM that is what is is about! I should have a facebook page up later today as well. Let's see if we can't generate some foot traffic so that we can all start getting the word out about our books and maybe sell a few!

I was wondering how you do an event at a restaurant. Do you have to pay for a party? How does that work? Someone in my local authors group mentioned she did this at Texas Roadhouse and it was hugely successful.
