Daily Show / Colbert Report / Nightly Show / The Opposition discussion

I just have to say that I'm very sad to hear that Maurice Sendak has died. Kind of strange, too, that he died the day I Am a Pole (And So Can You!) is released (or is that just me making Daily Show/Colbert Report connections that aren't really there?).

I know that Sendak wrote a lot of books, but the three projects I will always associate with him are 1. Where the Wild Things Are; 2. Nutcracker; and 3. Pacific Northwest Ballet's Nutcracker. It's a northwest tradition. Those three projects have such beautiful artwork -- they're each a masterpiece.

It is the way of the world; these events just happen "randomly" ... No way the Colbert "bump" was responsible?!? Sendak was a genius..interview with Colbert was super. Thanks for sharing
