Here is where the students eat the Welcome Feast and also where they come at mealtimes.

Scorpius nodded as McGonagall began her speech. He rolled his eyes at this.

Enter Star, Aoife and Ruben

Star sat down across from Ruben who smiled uneasily at her.

Aoife sat down at the Gryffindor table, grinning broadly.

As McGonagall began to ruffle all the pages she had to make sure they were in order a wave of laughter swam over the present students. Ahem McGonagall mumbled into the microphone . Everyone went silent except for Penney. She stood up and said proudly " excuse me! everybody but I think your all be quite rude ! Can't you see poor little McGonagall is trying to make a speech! But, she is clearly to embarrassed so I will now recite it for her." she paused for a few moments and nodded across the room to where Aidan her brother was sitting and mouthed " feel free to join in" Aidan nodded his head and soon realised what she was about do and whispered to the people beside him. "attention fellow students " she began in a posh voice " I am here to wish you all a happy and magical year at Hog warts. now McGonagall let me tell you that you look absolutely ....... Horrible in that snot-green coloured suit and don't even get me started on your wooden clogs! Ugh The students roared with laughter " what" Penney snapped I was only complimenting her outfit ! haha she cackled now Aidan jumped up from his seat, " hey why don't you try out for quid ditch I think you'd make a great chaser but you better wear your bloomers in case your skirt goes flying! mcGonagall ran out crying. And with that the students settled down for dinner!

(Hey it's OK for now but Aidan would probably not say that cos he's a Ravenclaw ;P But hey, it could be time for a "bold" Ravenclaw ;) And also McGonagall wouldn't cry either, she's been through way too much to let a comment make her cry, according to Pottermore lol )

McGonagall flushed, but stared straight at Penney. "Penney Clearwater, you sit down right now or else you will have minus one house points for Ravenclaw before lessons even start! I don't know what's gotten into you, but it will have to stop!" she said angrily. "Enjoy you're meal, every-one," she finished, her cheeks still flushed.

Aoife looked surprised. Why would Penney say something that like that...and to the Headmistress, too! She loved jokes and pranks, but everybody...well, maybe not the Slytherins, respected McGonagall for all she'd done to prevent the Dark Arts.

Star dug in to her food, talking to Ruben. "My father is writing his own book, you know. On insects in the wizarding and Muggle world! He's comparing them and everything, writing about the different ability of each creature..." But Ruben wasn't really listening. He was too polite to say anything, so he just smiled and nodded at her as she spoke.

As soon as she had finished her food, Aoife stood up. "Bye," she muttered to Penney. "I won't see you 'til tomorrow, 'cos I'm going to be in my Common Romm settling in," she said.

- Exit Aoife -

Scorpius was in no rush. "Coming, Zack? Merlin, that was an interesting speech, wasn't it?" he said smirking. "That's Ravenclaws for you... so rude and disrespectful," But he didn't really think this...he was surprised a Ravenclaw had stood up to the Head. Usually they were meek and quite. He just didn't want to admit he was slightly , but not much, impressed by a person in any other house than Slytherin.

As soon as Aoife left penney followed her and giggled about what she did

Ruben flopped down on the bench and began shovelling toast into his mouth. His first class was exactly six minutes, fifty-four seconds away. Not looking at the others, he rushed out of the room.

Star sat down, daydreaming about Wrackspurts as she ate some cereal. She finished up and left the room.

Aoife sat down and helped herself to quite a few sausages. Her class begun in five minutes, and the hall was pretty deserted, but she didn't mind. Thinking that, if she was late, she wouldn't get to be on the team, she hurried up and left,

Scorpius sat down, and, realising he would be late, picked up a sausage and hurried out of the hall, feeling guilty for leaving Zack behind.
