Lynxie *shuffles in*
Hi all! Wrangling the unruly beast that is the current WIP story! Not going too well of late, so much else keeps coming up.

I saw The Grey last week - interesting movie. Liam Neeson was great it in it :D

Lynxie Basically a plane full of people crash in Alaska? (somewhere cold and covered in ice and snow) and they're attacked by a pack of wolves because they've invaded their land... pretty good, but not great!

Gave up smoking cigarettes this week. *grumble, grumble, grumble* Too sick to smoke, not pleasant, still grouchy. The habit lingers. Having a cup of coffee, I'll just go and roll myself a cigarette, oh, no I won't...:(

Here, they put the photographs on the cigarette packets; lungs, fingers, eyes, toes, you name it. I smoked off and on as a teenager. Gave it up in my twenties. Then when we built our house here in Tassie a few years ago, while living in our shed in the middle of the wettest winter in 25 years, completing the house in seven weeks, I started again.

Must admit, I feel better already.

The Burrito Supreme goes for US $2.59 in my neck of the woods, which is one of the most expensive cities on the North American continent. I can't believe no one would tell you that! Hang on a minute, somebody's at the door. Says he's from Homeland Security...

So I Googled Norwich, and I see that you're a bit off the main track, but still, 200,000 more or less is a decent size city. Here, we take it for granted that you can take a short drive and get food from any country, region, or ethnic group. Is it not like that there? See, I'm just wondering what the attraction is about Taco Bell. We sit squarely on the Mexican border here, pride ourselves on our knowledge of Mexican food, and Taco Bell isn't held in much regard by the chollos or the gringos. The food triangle is "Good, Fast, and Cheap," and you can deliver any two; Taco Bell owns Fast and Cheap.

All right, I wasn't going to bring it up, but since you did...

We're Jack in the Box fans ourselves, but that's regional (my son can't even get that in Colorado), and anyway, there's no accounting for taste; you like what you like. Hell, if anybody had good taste anymore, I would have been published years ago!

A lifelong dream! I used to sail Lake Havasu in Arizona with my uncle. The best memories. Sail all day, campfires and clams at night.
