Brandi walked in, curious on what she'll find in such a dark room. A lamp she brought in was beginning to catch fire. She unveiled a mirror to see herself full of color and enjoying life humanly.

John walked in, his hair still wet from the lake. "Hey"

Brandi looked behind her and was shocked. "H-how did you find me?"

"Just walking around, i've come here before."

"Really? What did you find in the Mirror?"

"Me, next to a girl. But her features are shadowed so i can never tell who it is."

Her heart was like stabbed. "Oh...I see"

"But she kind of looks like you."

Her heart quickly healed and soared with flying colors. "R-really?" her voice broke.

"Yeah, her hair is the same color, and even in the mirror, i get the same feeling around her that i get around you."

Brandi broke into tears and a smile.

"Brandi, i really like you."

"I like you too, John. I'm just too shy to tell." Brandi cried even harder and walked nearer to John.

John smiled and hugged her.

Brandi cried on his shoulder. She tried to say something but was too mortified and her throat was too tight to speak.

John hugged her even tighter.

John kissed her forehead, and slowly stepped away from the embrace, but still holding one of her hands.

((Hey!))
"Do you know what I am?" Brandi blurted out without thinking.

((Hi!))
"No, and it doesnt matter."

"But it does, John, it does! I'm a-"

"What?"

"Vampire," Brandi looked down at the floor.

"Vampire? Thats nothing to be ashamed of Brandi."

"What if I bite you? What if we kiss and-and I go ballistic and you die?"

"It wouldn't matter, because i love you. if i die, I'll die happy."

"Do you really?"

"Of course."

Brandi cried again but no tears streamed down. "John, what'd you think of me in first year?"

"I saw you, but i was kind of nervous. i was in the seat across from you on the Hogwarts Express. I wondered who you were, and always wanted to talk to you more, but i was never brave enough."

"Really? I didn't see you. I just thought of everyone as dinner way back."

"Yes, really."

"Don't worry, I'm different now. I plan on making friends and all."

Matt took her hands in his. "Good, I know you can. People just need to know you."

Brandi smiled. (Sorry, running out of ideas...)

(same, i was going to change the subject, but thought it would b wierd.))
"Want to go dueling or something?"

"Game. You'd lose." Brandi smirked wider.

"Bring it" Matt left for the Dueling club.
