THE MOVIE!!!!! (2013)
Imagine my jaw dropping right now....because that is happening :D
So excited! I've been waiting so long for a "new" zombie movie to come out, and this book was so emotional beyond the monsters. Can't wait!

LOL -- Thanks! :o)
I'm excited! But if they cast Kristen Stewart I just might need to be checked into a hospital for Suicidal Ideation >_>
Um I'm scared!!!Imagine this on the big screen....awesome?YES!Freaky Freaky Insane?YES!!
maybe it will have less unanswered questions and plot holes than the book =/ . I still can't get past them getting to the other girls town and it has soo much better technology and planning and yet no one else locked themselves up onto tree tops like they did?? No the houses sat unused and full of rations. Further, how come no one else from her village came down the tunnels...to many things left unsaid. At least what happens to Harry and Cass gets explained in a later book. *Sigh*

What tunnels? What houses full of unused rations?
its like a quarter of the book..... LOL. They get to Gabrielle's village and the homes are perfectly stocked and they can survive months (which Mary and the band do, and are still surviving till the dumb kid sets fire to the houses) So why did no one from the ORIGINAL town not survive in their own home? I mean a bunch of strangers who have never even been there have no problem but the locals were all to stupid and died. I mean she finds a baby with one bite mark in a cradle...wtf is with that? they took a love bite from the baby and just walked away? Why not eat a little more hmm? Further, the zombies seem more interested in killing than eating...and they seem to survive FOREVER...what is with that?
Firefly wrote: "Never liked the book, but I think this would make a great movie!"it probably would, zombie movies do not need as much as plot as a book. Its just all adrenaline, special effects, and action. *sits back and waits for new Resident Evil movie* I wont lie...I would line up to watch it *blushes*

Someone had to have been bitten and did not tell anyone. The infection then spread too fast for anyone to really do anything.
The zombies don't attack to eat, they attack to spread the virus. The whole village was already turned by the time they got there. So they didn't have a problem because they already knew everyone was turned.
it still makes no sense, the doors are solid wood and prove to be able to take abuse for LONG periods of time and not be breakable. So no one was at home (with their doors closed) when the attack happened. No one sat there and was like wow look at all the dead people, or heard the screams, and thought time to use the zombie evac plan we have been preparing for all our lives! Nope I am going to just die *opens door* HELLO FRIENDS! Its like coming to Florida and hearing there was a hurricane and finding NO ONE in a shelter. Really no one????? And instead of wasting arrows shooting up the house KILL THE ZOMBIES! I would be 24hr zombie killer. One down infinite more to go. Since apparently lack of food never kills them SOMEONE best start taking down the dead.
*WAIT* I didn't hate the book, and it is beginning to sound like I did. Before we go further off topic... *yay movie!!!*

The zombie evac plan is for a breach from outside the gates not from within.
But Even in Mary's village there were quite a few people who were able to get on the platforms ( some didn't lift the ladders and died) but a lot of others were stuck up there ( they probably starved to death as they weren't prepared at all like Gabrielle's village).

I liked how they described the lots of zombies piling against the floor and trampling eachother to get into the attic and against the walls to put pressure and get in because honestly it is a simple physics thing but nothing I ever even thought of which is goofy of me but made perfect sense. I like to think the zombie situation overwhelmed the people and when your friends and family you are trying to save and you are dealing with a much denser population and in ways that makes it easier to overwhelm the town plus they might have had fast moving ones but that is something I had to think about as well.
for some reason i thought this was already made into a movie but i guess notim curouse to see how they translate the book into the movie
though i guess this also means i have to reread it since its been awhile and i dont really remember what happens lol
Though the trailer looked good
does anyone now when its coming out?

@Tina
Wow!!! You are so smart; like I never realized the plot holes but I totally agree. I did always think it was weird that people weren't killing the zombies. There is less logic and more action. And i liked the books but didn't love them, they were slow and i always knew how they were going to end. It's like they have no "hope". I didn't read the latest one but i would hope that there would be zombie killers. That would have been cool.
