I'm currently working my way through the Inspector Banks series by Peter Robinson. I've read eleven of them now (starting with Gallows View) and there are still lots to read. I've recently started reading the Hannah Swensen "Cookie Jar" mysteries, starting with Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder. Also enjoy the Alan Bradley series of 11-year old Flavia de Luce, chemist and mystery solver extraordinaire (The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie. Can't wait for the next one!

like:
How to Murder a Millionaire
Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder
Murder With Peacocks
Murder in Miniature
Lots of them have recipes or how to items such as sewing.... Those are cozy mysteries
:o)
I'm not really big on series - I tend to get bored with them around book # 4 or 5. However ... I'm still interested and enjoying Alexander McCall Smith's No.1 Ladies Detective Agency series. Love Precious Ramotswe!
My two favorite series at the moment are the Shannara series(which boasts a huge list of titles) and the Percy Jackson series(which is currently on it's second series, The Lost Heroes). There are a couple of new series i've recently gotten into, such as the Lichgate series by S.M.Boyce(currently only the first book is available) and the Empire's Edge series by Lindsay Buroker. And naturally, there are some authors I can always count on to deliver solid runs like Tamora Pierce. I will say that I don't like books that go on forever. Something I love about the Shannara series is that it's comprised of individual trilogies, duologies, and quartets that are all linked through a same history but don't focus on the same characters.
I really like the "Heroes" series - Resenting the Hero, The Hero Strikes Back, etc. and the Cal Leandros series
i like all of the darren shan series' that he does. i am like the Shannara series and the other series' done by terry brooks. i like mostly fantasy series' by various authors as well as many crime thriller series'

Whenever i see the covers they look like youg children covers so i've never actually picked them up.?
My favorite series is Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker Guide to the Galaxy. With the exception of Star Wars I tend not to get into any series that's longer than 4 or 5 books as I get bored with them.
favorite 'series'? might be the Lincoln Child / Douglas Preston thing that started with Relic. Used to be the Anita Blake but not any more. Don't know if A Song of Ice and Fire is legitimately a series since supposedly there *is* an end in sight but if it counts, that would be it.
I have really enjpyed some of Nora Roberts trilogies and her 11 book series about the MacGregors.I love Harlan Coben's Myron Bolitar series and Nelson DeMille's books which feature John Corey, I also enjoyed the beginning Rina Decker and Peter Lazarus books by Faye Kellerman. I contiue to read the Alex Cross series by James Patterson. And recently I am into reading the Maisie Dobbs series by Jacqueline Winspear which I think is great.A funny thing - I read maybe five or six books in a series and then say no more but Alex Cross is a must read despite that ferw books ever measure up to the first one, Along Came a Spider.
