Peggy Holloway | 51 comments Y'all obviously know how to get around in Pinterest. I joined an can't figure it out. I'll get an e-mail that someone has joined me on Pinterest and I need to welcome them and I say to myself, "I'm so sorry, wish I could help you." There must be some directions somewhere but I haven't found them yet.

I've found it's a fumble and see sort of site, but after fumbling for some time, I've found the easiest things is to set up a few board with different themes and names and just keep pinning to them. The PinIt facility is really easy. Set it up as one of your bookmarks, then just click on it every time you see an image anywhere you want to pin.

message 9: by Tanya (new)

Tanya Peterson (tanyajpeterson) I find Pinterest to be kind of fun. I see it as not so much as a selling tool but as a platform-building tool and a way to show what I'm all about. Think if it as a show-don't-tell kind of thing! I agree that it's a stumble- and fumble around site, but while it doesn't offer the consistency of, say, Facebook, it still has its own value.

I'm at www.Pinterest.com/tanyajpeterson.

Here is mine. I agree on the "more a fun tool, interest builder" rather than selling tool. Just enjoy what others are doing too.

G.S. Wright (gswright) | 2 comments I've been using pinterest on and off for awhile. I do sometimes use it as a selling tool for myself and for indie author friends, but also just for fun. I try to balance between the two, but it really depends on the day.

It is a ton of fun, but you can definitely promote your books. I like doing both things, but finding cute pictures of puppies and awesome landscapes wins out. Most of the time. :)

Louise Folger | 4 comments "Under the Sea Adventure. This is a children 's book.
My new book is also free on Amazon on Jan. 16-17. Info about my book and by biography is below:
Under the Sea Adventure: Fun Sea Animals and Marine Life Rhymes Picturebook for Kids
link: http://amzn.to/1ljZCXF

Number of pages:33
In this delightful book, children can travel under the sea in a little red submarine. On their adventure they find strange and beautiful sea animals , such as; sharks, dolphins and seahorses. They will also learn about marine life as they read the rhymes and look at the colorful pictures. At the end of the book is a remember to children and adults, that marine life is important to our future and that we should protect it. Have fun reading to your child while teaching them about sea life and to respect nature. This is a entertaining book that your child will love to read again and again. If you like the book please leave a review on Amazon and Goodreads.
