Which brother? I actually started out with Stefan. I've always thought he was cuter and still do but between seasons 2 and 3, I somehow switched. What about you?

When I started to read the books, I wasn't for either brother - but by the 4th book, I was all for Damon!

So when I started watching the Tv show - despite it being NOTHING like the books - I am still for Delena!

I've always thought that Damon deserves to be loved, because he's really not a bad soul at all.

At first, I had a really hard time choosing between those two. But as the story progressed, I came to like Damon more. Probably because he's such a tortured soul [yeah, I'm a sucker for those and I keep repeating this everywhere]. And like Ronaween said, he deserves to be loved. One thing I also like about Damon is that he usually masks his good intentions by making it look like he's doing all the wrong things, even being cynical and sarcastic.

I think Stefan can be boring a lot but Damon is funny.

Stefan's dull, but Damon, I love his personality.

SO agree. Rose was one of my fav characters, and I miss her a lot. But when she said that, I got teary-eyed and...

Well i guess both of them are wonderful in different ways.
Stefan, a perfect match for Elena, and a great gentleman.
On the other hand, Damon, who catches everybody's attention and pleases the audience by his gesture.
So hats off to both of them. :)

Maybe elena can date the phantom of the opera (Movie from 2004). He is creepy like a vampire, but not! And he is more sexy! And he will like, sing to her!

I liked Stefan at first when Damon seemed liked a total jerk. Than I learned more about Damon and Stefan was way too boring and dare I say melodramatic. Damon is the favorite, even when I scream at the TV and the books (in my head usually) about who Elena should choose (Damon of course!).

I totally agree with you, Damon deserves to be loved and may even have a better soul for Elena and may even be a better match. Sometimes I think Stefan is spineless where Elena and Damon are not. I am hopng also that Stefan has just projected the love he felt for Katherine on Elena and he will realize and go back to Katherine eventually, only after Elena chooses Damon though, of course, it has to be her choice!

At the start of the tv series I was all for Stephen, but somewhere I started falling for Damon... Now i'm all Damon and can't really stand Stephen... Damon is more like myself which is probably why I relate to him more. Plus he's hot. How can you not like Ian Somerhalder?!?!?

Ok, I'm for Stefan in the books and Damon in the TV series- mainly 'cause Paul Wesley does not stand up to Ian. oh! and I LOVE
