Titanic History discussion

I thought a fun thing to do would be to have a weekly question. I'll post a question under "Poll" and then we can discuss it under this folder. If you have an idea for a question you can message me. I'm happy to take all sorts of questions.
I think it might be better to stick to questions just on Titanic (not about movies or books on the Titanic, just in case not everyone has read it)
I'll post the question every Friday, and you'll have exactly one week to answer it.

May I suggest one for anytime in the future? I'd love to know everyone's favorite Titanic officer - from chief officer Wilde to 6th officer Moody. My money is on everyone voting for either Lightoller or Lowe since both did acts of great heroism that night...and of course both also made mistakes. Anyway, I think it would be nice to hear different perspectives/opinions on their favorite officer. :)

I'll think about that one! I'd have to do more research to be able to answer that one... I think that's a really interesting question!
