Durmstrang discussion

Atticus is the oldest of the current Durmstrang Houses, the only one that dates back to the founding of the school. Its members exemplify what the rest of the world perceives Durmstrang graduates to be: cunning, brave, skilled in Dark Arts, and perhaps having more nerve than sense. If you're on an outdoors backpacking trip or journey through strange lands, Atticus members are your Fearless Leaders - they will rush into danger without overanalyzing the situation first (as your Liberalises would). They'll always have your back in battle.

A high proportion of Lord Voldemort's Durmstrang followers are Atticus students and graduates. This number formerly included Igor Karkaroff, who now leads the Durmstrang Damned.

The Atticus house mascot is a Thestral, and the house colors are green and black. It roughly corresponds to Slytherin with a dash of Ravenclaw thrown in for good measure.

Traits (Good and Bad): Can see Thestrals, enjoys mischief, but is quite and shy, sits in the back of the class, 'doodles-in-note-book' kind of kid, the kind that sits alone at lunch. Is usualy picked on. Skinny and fragil. Stays up almost every night and gets only 30 min to hour of sleep daily.
Appearance: Pale skinned, dark haired, eyes seem to change color, mostly rare colors: purples, gray, pale blue, gold-orange, red, white/silver. Has a splash of freckles across his noise. Dresses in dark clothing, often like he's mourning.

Other: His wand is made of Blackthorn/Elder with a Ebony hilt with a ivory inlay. It has a very intricate design and some gems inlayed in the hilt aswell. Pheonix ash in it and unicorn horn inbeded in the tip of the wand. The wand also has Thestral tail hairs. Both his Animagus and Patronus is that of a Thestral. He owns a Dementor-like cloak.
