VAMPS-R-US discussion

Hope this doesn't offend anyone...if it does, well we can take it down. I've been reading a new book, Under Fire, (yes, it's not a vampire book...such blasphemy! but I also like men in uniform) and the characters have been playing this game. It's an interesting take on the "people in the boat" game. Three names are given based on a common tie and you have to decide which one you would marry, kill, and, well, screw. (Is it strange that I'm more concerned with the political correctness of "screw" rather than "kill"?)

I figure we can play a round for a day or two for responses and then someone can suggest a new set. So to start off I'd like to propose three characters from BDB >>> Manny, Rhevenge, Trez.

The choices aren't really supposed to be easy. So if I had to I would:

MARRY Manny: At least he's a doctor and he's human too (which when I think about it may actually be a negative).

SCREW Trez: He's mysterious and exotic but also seems to be a softie at times (with Xhex and his workers).

KILL Rhevenge (don't hate me Rayna!): Anyone that has followed my ongoing debate with Rayna knows how I feel about the drug-dealing pimp (though I have promised to re-read his book this summer to give him another try).

So how about anyone else...what do you think?

This is hilarious! Sorry, I can't contribute because I haven't read that series yet, but I'll be watching to see how the game goes. Funny stuff!

LOL. If you haven't read the series, just pick 3 from a series you have read, who knows someone else might want those same 3 in mind!! ;-)

Hmmm...ok, how about Twilight. I think pretty much everyone has read that series whether they liked it or not. Edward, Emmet, Jasper

MARRY - Edward, but only if he was as obsessed with me as he was Bella. Even though he is good because he loves Bella and his family, Edward definitely has a dark side, and it's sexy. He was the best thing about the books.

SCREW - Jasper, (but only if I was a vampire of course! Otherwise this is suicide) because hey, HE CAN FEEL EVERYTHING YOU FEEL. That would make for some seriously sensual sex.

KILL - Emmet by default. He's a fun guy and would make me laugh I am sure, and I'd be sad to see him go, but somebody has to go!

MARRY EDWARD! I agree he was the best thing about the book. Who wouldn't want someone who was smart, caring, and totally devoted to you as well as hot looking. Edward certainly has that darkside going on but he also has a sensitive and kindheart for others as (both are revealed in Midnight Sun.)

SCREW EMMETT: He just seems like he would be way more fun in bed than Jasper, empath or not! Sex with Monkey Man would be fun and adventuresome!

Which means...
KILL Jasper. Sorry but as Pisces said someone's gotta go and he just seems way too serious and somber. Besides, he has that whole, I still want to suck humans dry urge going...so I definitely don't want to be around him when he's not totally in control.

OK..back in the Game. It's funny you choose VA and those characters because they were going to be my next choices too.

MARRY DIMITRI: Really, Tiff, you liked him better as a Strigoi..I'm worried about you! Dimitri has honor and loves Rose and I just think he's absolutely hot in bed, so's he's my choice.

SCREW Christian. I like his possessive jealousywith a bit of angsty darkness thrown in with the whole outsider due to parents things.

KILL ADRIAN! I've never really liked him. SOrry the alcoholic, drugged out to help me cope just shows weakness to me. Not a turn-on.

On to Dark Hunters/ BDB:

MARRY ACHERON: He's eternally young and hot, self-sacrificing, powerful, a leader, and has great eyes with an angsty past that's need healing (before he met his wife anyway).

SCREW Valerian : He needed someone to teach him how to loosen up and I think it would be a fun adventure.

KILL Z I think I'm one of the only people on the planet not in love with Z. I can appreciate his angst and actually liked his character better the second time I read his book...but he just doesn't do it for me. PLus, killing Z would have additional good points by it upsetting Phury...who I don't think anyone can like with all his whining and "whoa is me" drugging.

Let's add NightHuntress into the mix:

How about: Spade, Ian, Mencheres (I really wanted to put Vlad but I think that would have made the choices too easy!)
