EVERYONE IN THE WORLD TOLD ME TO READ THEM. Well, what seemed like everyone anyway. I wasn't convinced though until the YA-sisterhood Summer Crushin' Tourney
Nicole wrote: "EVERYONE IN THE WORLD TOLD ME TO READ THEM. Well, what seemed like everyone anyway. I wasn't convinced though until the YA-sisterhood Summer Crushin' Tourney"HEEHEE, so it took a tour for you to finally read it? the whole world wasn't enough nicole?? ;D

YAY!!! ;D I don't know many people who DIDN'T finish it one day, it's kind of impossible with so much JACE on every page ;D
HAha very true! And...IkindalikeSimonalittlemoreandtotallywnttomarryhim! *clears throat* ..but I love Jace too. (:
Nicole wrote: "The world wasn't very convincing...lol"(sigh) One day, you're gonna have to make a very big decision Nicole, and there might not be a book tour to help you with it;D

I love his dorky side and how he seems to have gotten more confident :D ...um yeah She would probably kick my butt. I stand no chance! D: lol Yeah they are both pretty awesome!
It wasn't a tour, it was a crush tournament:http://ya-sisterhood.blogspot.com/p/s...
This is how I met most of the boys I love now :)
And the world isn't always smart Shreya. They also convinced me to read Nightshade. It started off okay but then it went downhill and broke my heart (view spoiler)

he HAS grown a lot stronger hasn't he? :D i thought it was weird that my feeling for him were slowly inching towards admiration, but i guess i'm not the only one. AND DON'T SAY THAT, YOU WOULD DEFINITELY STAND A CHANCE!!!! this is simon we talkin bout here...as long as you love video games, your chances increase to 50% IN FACT, im surprised Izzy even made it that far. ;D
I read the spoiler because i wasn't going to finish nightshade anyway nicole...but i was NOT expecting THAT O_O.....WOWZA....Yah..im glad you met that crush tournament or something..;D

YES! you can tell in CoLS! I was like "WOAH! who is this guy claiming to be Simon?!" lol
Well I'm not that great at video games but i still love them :P
But I meant she would literally kick my butt for hitting on her man..shes a shadow hunter! I can't even walk without falling on my face!
I saw the first book in the store a very long time ago and just felt compelled to pick it up and that's it.. LOL even got my brother on to them :)
Heinzypop wrote: "I saw the first book in the store a very long time ago and just felt compelled to pick it up and that's it.. But the surprising fact is, i hesitated to pick it up at first :O but then again, i was in my beginning stages of reading back then..

LOL oh really that's ok but at least you did!
I really didn't hesitate the blurb just fascinated me and since I'm already obsessed with anything supernatural (aka Dean Winchester) I thought I'd definitely give it a go!!

Aren't you glad for Supernatural then? ;D
Madeleine wrote: "*sigh* do you really want to hear the story again?"YESH MADELINE!!!! Now that you've said that, OF COURSE i wanna hear it again! ;D Come on, divulge!
OK. so you know how Borders closed last year? My father knew that i had all these gift cards so he drove me over there so i could get a bunch of books at discount prices. Today, i don't remember what other books i got, if i got any. All i remember is that i was looking around the young adult section and City of Bones was the only book on a shelf close to the ground. Me being me, I picked it up and crawled under a nearby table. I sat there and read up to chapter three until five minutes 'til closing time.
I kept seeing them pop up on this site. I finally gave in and fell in love with Clockwork Angel, so I read Clockwork Prince right after. That was back in January or February.I actually avoided reading TMI for the longest. There was a review I'd read of the second book that put me off. I eventually changed my mind and finally read the first book a few weeks ago. I'll be catching up on the rest soon.
I surprisingly thank my dad for helping me discover the mortal instruments cause he bought the first three for me :) he also helped me find many others
My friend was reading her one day and I asked her what it was about. All she did was stutter, and said, "I have no words." So, I read it, and fell in love.
My cousin was the one who introduced me to Clare's books, while we were at a bookstore she handed me Clockwork Angel and told me to read it, I read the prologue and I liked it so she lent me her copy of the said book (also Prince). I'm also thinking of reading The Mortal Instruments but I think I'll finish the Infernal Devices first :).
For me I originally saw the TMI Series a couple years ago in a BookStore. The covers caught my attention, but I got distracted by something else and forgot about them....Then, earlier this year, the Leader of Our School's "Readers & Writers" Club suggested that we all read "Clockwork Angel".
....And From that Moment on, I Fell in Love.
So far I've finished the first book of TID & I'm about halfway through the 2nd. I plan on starting the TMI Series sometime this Year. :)
My Goodreads friend recommended the TMI to me, and so far I am in looooove with the series!
My best friend was reading City of Bones. Then I went to the book store and picked up Clockwork Angel not even realizing that is was written by the same author.
MegAnne wrote: "My best friend was reading City of Bones. Now I am in love with Cassandra clare's books
I had seen the books everywhere in the blogging world, but the first 3 where on they "buy 2 get one free" table at my chain bookstore! So I bought the first three, devoured them, then pre-ordered CoFA, devoured that, pre-ordered CoLS, devoured that, and now have the last book pre-ordered! I then got hooked on the Infernal Devices series, which I love even more!
TMI. I actually came across it because my mom read it the first open and I saw the cover and I was like " Hot Boy." And grabbed it and read it like four times.....
I saw in the library and I had nothing else to do. So I started reading it. Then before I knew. I was reading the whole series over and over again
My friend Sara :) We're book nerds, so she literally shoved her copies of those into my hands. Shes awesome!!
So I was at fair last year and I was with my friend and I saw her reading one of the tmi books and then I thought wow those looked weird but then I read one because well my friend forced me to and I was completely hooked and I thank her everytime I see her for showing me the books lol it's been a year and I'm about done with the tid books <3
People had been recommending them to me for awhile and my long-time friend and I agreed to a book-trade.She read the GONE series by Michael Grant
I read CITY OF BONES (:
I was in the book isle at my local Wal-Mart and it was like faite come to greet me first hand, the mortal instrument books sitting right next to the infernal devices books( at that time clockwork princess wasn't out quite yet), i picked the CoB book and read the back where it tells you what it is anout and i fell... no, plumeted head first into the world of shadowhunters and everything they stand/ fight for. I am HUGE Jace fan and for TID, i'm Will all the way. ;)

I came across it by luck at my local bookstore ;D
