So what do you think of his books? His style of writing? The characters? The plots?

embarassing as hell. i actually hid Sahara behind a newspaper when I was reading it, but so saying they aare a guilty pleasure now and then and are ideal for a brain wipe between better books by better authors. oddly, as embarassing as i find cussler i love matthew riley books and they are dumber by far

When I'm looking for escapism without wizards I will read Clive Cussler or Michael Crichton. Adventures are good! I read for pleasure mostly so his books are fine.
