Kay Scarpetta Books/Movie Group discussion

i would choose michelle pfeiffer,sharron stone or kathryn morris from cold case for kay scarpetta, and i think jeremy ratchford from cold case would be a great marin :)

what do you guys think?

Denise Crosby would be a good choice for playing Kay Scarpetta. I agree on Ratchford. He is kinda like I've always pictured Marino.

However, I've never really liked movies made from books I've read. Perhaps this could be a first...

i agree, i really do hope they make this movie a sucess!

I see Lucy as a younger Jodie Foster
(if not for age, she would be perfect!)
but I'm not sure who that would be.

BENTON WESLEY - HAS to be Denzel Washington
or a Forrest Whitaker 0

KAY - if not Patricia Cornwell herself, I don't know!

and I think that would be a good choice;
Denise Crosby or Kathryn Morris might work, too

MARINO - Nick Vera would be great

Holly Hunter would be amazing as Kay! Smart, striking, perfect!

KAY - Patricia Cornwell herself would be best - but I think that Patricia Arquette would be a good choice.

MARINO - How about John Carroll Lynch?

I agree on Patricia Arquette to play Kay. She is a great actress. I would pick Ted Danson maybe for Benton.

My pick for Kay would be Gillian Anderson

Yes! Isla Fisher would be a good choice! And, I checked out Jeremy Rathford and think he would make a good Marino too!
I guess it all depends on which book and what ages they decide to make everyone!

I have read that Angelina Jolie is being considered for Kay - but I just don't see that!
