Students are forbidden from roaming the fourth floor. There was, however, no reason provided for the establishment of this rule. Perhaps some brave, daring students will have the wits to find out...

Professor Cal crept silently into the fourth floor. "Here, Demon, come on Cat. Please, Demon!" she sobbed. Her face was covered in dried tears.

Scott walks out of the door trying to shut it with no one seeing him.

Professor cal drew herself up. "Boys, what are you doing here? It-it's forbidden! WHat are your houses?"

Swaroop sneaked into the fourth floor.All these years he was told its forbidden,this year being his last,he wanted to find out the reason for that.He had no reason to fear,now that he had learnt all the skills to be an Auror.

Professor Cal swung around. "Shame!" she shrieked, her voice ringing throughout the hall.

'You're looking gorgeous today,professor Cal' Swaroop said in a teasing voice.''Can you please explain why is this floor forbidden?' he asked politely.

Her eyebrows went down in an angry V. "This floor is forbidden because the headmaster made it so. DO you have a written permission to visit this floor?" she said, fighting to keep her voice calm.

Scott smirks as the eccentric teacher yells at swaroop. He then proceeds to head to the back room.

Professor Cal hears quite footsteps. She swings around. "Scott Ryan! Over here! NOW!"

Scott steps forward. "Hello Professor" he says sweetly his head slightly tilted to the side showing his boy-ish looks.

"Give me your year and house, NOW, and I want to see if you have a written oermission slip WITH signature!" she says sternly.

"Of course Professor" Scott says as he pulls out a signed piece of parchment with Prof. Carnigan's signature written in clear handwriting.

She studies the note with pursed lips. "House and year." she says, handing back the note.

"Slytherin. 6th Year" Scott says becoming increasingly annoyed by the crazy professor.

She nodded. "FIne. Go ahead and explore." she says. She turns back toward Swaroop.

"Thanks professor." he says as He smiles and pockets the forged letter. He had prepared it earlier that day. He heads to the back room.

Swaroop took out a blank paper from his pocket.'I have written permission,but I fear its written in invisible ink.If you are authorized to guard this floor,then the words will be visible to you.Else it wont be visible.Since I am the Headboy I have this all time' he said and smiled.'Are you able to see the words professor ?' he asked.

Scott shakes his head smiling.

She squinted at the note. "No. House, now."

Emma, who was on patrol, head quiet voices in the hallway. She advanced until she spotted Swaroop and Professor Cal glaring at one another. "Good evening, Professor," she said curtly.

She threw her hands up in the air. "Let's just invite the whole school for a party in here, shall we? Let's write them invisible invitations, too!"

'Why do I smell something fishy here? Are you the real Professor Cal ? Because if you are real,you would have been able to read the words on this parchment' Swaroop said seriously and winked at Scott who was now holding laughter.

She rolled her eyes. "Yes, am pretty sure I am Professor Cal. Now give me your house!" she said.

"Excuse me, professor, but I'm head girl and Swaroop's head boy. We're on patrol at the moment," Emma said, fully aware that Swaroop ha never signed up for patrol this evening.

She raised her eyebrows. "Why would the headmaster want someone to patrol this floor? And if thats true, the pass shouldn't be in invisible ink. And you should be telling Scott Ryan to get." she said.

'Dear Professor Cal,its invisible ink to verify the genuinty of the authority,this was done after it was heard that we have many imposters here who just use polyjuice potion and do illegal activities in forbidden floors' Swaroop replied. Now he was unable to control his laughter after watching Emma and Scott giggling from behind.

Her eyes narrowed. "Out. And 16 points from your house." she turned to Emma. "You too. Out and 16 points from your house."

'Great! I believe Scott has our names included in his permissions.Can you please have a look?' Swaroop asked Professor Cal.

"I saw the note. Now scat." she said.

Swaroop left the floor with Emma who could not stop laughing.'Thanks for the saving effort Emma,but alas it was not helpful today.Professor Cal is so determined to shoo us away' he said and laughed.

"Evidently," Emma replied. "She was acting a bit ... strange."

Scott comes running up to them. "Don't worry she will forget about it in a few hours time." he says still laughing about Prof. Cal. "So what are you doing down here?" he asks

"Trying to figure out why this floor was forbidden. You?" she asked.

'I was very bored,so set off to have some adventure which ended up being fun' Swaroop said to Scott and laughed.'But I must agree,you fooled her very easily' he added.

"What was she even doing up here?" Emma asked curiously.

The professor ran by them, clutching her cat, who is squirming and trying to get out of her arms.

Swaroop wrote: "'I was very bored,so set off to have some adventure which ended up being fun' Swaroop said to Scott and laughed.'But I must agree,you fooled her very easily' he added." Scott laughs "Face it she's not all that bright." Scott says with a smile "If she was smart she would have done a spell on the paper to see if it was forged or not."

Emma wrote: ""Trying to figure out why this floor was forbidden. You?" she asked."
"I heard some strange noises coming from up here thought I would come check it out." he says. Suddenly they all hear a scream from somewhere on the floor. Scott pulls his wand out. "That's exactly what I heard." he says to them

Emma turned, peering down the hallway, her wand held aloft.

Scott walks towards the door at the end of the hallway and opens it up and steps through it holding his wand aloft. "What was that?" he asks Emma

"No idea," Emma replied, as the sound of somethin shattering echoed throughout the corridor.

"Something's back here..." he says "Follow me." he says to her as he walks down the hall peering into one of the old classrooms.

Emma followed him, glancing over her shoulder as they proceeded cautiously down the corridor. Movement caught her eye and she spun around, pointing to a doorway where the figure had disappeared. "There," she said, raising her wand slightly higher.

Scott raises his wand aiming it at the figure "Who are you?" he demands

Swaroop raises his wand and says 'Revelio!' but nothing happens. 'We need some light here' he says and mutters 'Lumos!'.

"Who was it?" Emma asked, peering into the darkness.

"I don't know" he says looking at the last place the figure was. Then he noticed something.. A crack in the wall... to small and to straight to be natural. He walks towards it "Hey check this out.." he says

'What might have caused this?' Swaroop asks surprisingly.

"I dunno.." Scott says as he runs his finger down the crack

'I don't believe this floor is forbidden for no reason. Something looks fishy' Swarop said.
