((Hola!))
"I can't believe what I saw," Kayla said quietly. "His body just supernaturally disappeared into the air. And now the zombies say his body reappeared here."
"I can't believe what I saw," Kayla said quietly. "His body just supernaturally disappeared into the air. And now the zombies say his body reappeared here."
"That is so not possible," Audra hissed. After a split second, she sighed, "Yeah, it totally is. But why?"
"I don't know," Kayla said. "But we're about to find out."
Just ahead of them was a large clearing in the forest. And in the middle of the clearing, there stood a huge, stone table. But there was nothing on it.

((That's right!))
As they both stared at the stone table, a huge hand descended gently upon Audra's shoulder.
Kane!
As they both stared at the stone table, a huge hand descended gently upon Audra's shoulder.
Kane!
Audra's eyes widened. She continued to stare straight ahead, but touched the hand on her shoulder. "Impossible," she breathed.
"Audra," came the whisper in her ear.
There stood Kane, looking down at her with a little smile. There was love in his eyes.
"I have returned, Audra."
"I have returned, Audra."
"Oh, Kane!" she gasped. "But aren't you dead, Kane?"(((I got out the book and I read the dialogue...)))
((Cool!))
"I was," Kane said. "But I'm alive again."
"I was," Kane said. "But I'm alive again."
((No problem. ;D))
"Quite simple," Kane said. "I resurrected myself. I tried to tell you that just before I died, but it was too late then."
"Quite simple," Kane said. "I resurrected myself. I tried to tell you that just before I died, but it was too late then."
For some reason, this sent a shiver up her spine and brought goosebumps to her arms.((("Oh, Aslan!" "Aren't you dead then, dear Aslan?"..."But what does it all mean?" ;D)))
((;D))
"It is finished," Kane said. "The sad part is over."
"It is finished," Kane said. "The sad part is over."
Audra looked down at her fingers. Still shaking. She looked up at Kane and couldn't supress her smile.
Kane put his hand to her cheek and would stroke her hair.
She was suddenly aware of every forest sound buzzing around her; every cold breeze which hit her arms; every thump of her heart: all so clear and magnified. She touched his hand.
"I'm so sorry, Audra," Kane said. "I'm so sorry that you had to go through all that grief."
Kane cocked his head. "What do you mean?"
"But I will always come back to life," Kane said. "Remember what I am."
"Audra," Kane said in a pleading voice. "Please believe me. Trust me." He moved some hair from her face.
"Kane, I trust you! I'm just saying, to a human, it's a bit...strange, this immortality. Kane, I would trust you with my life."
Kane smiled.
Then Kayla ran to him with open arms. Kane embraced her, chuckling.
Then Kayla ran to him with open arms. Kane embraced her, chuckling.
((That's okay.))
After they hugged, Kane put his arms around Audra.
After they hugged, Kane put his arms around Audra.
"I never will," Kane said, still hugging her. "I'll make sure I won't."
Kane stopped hugging her. "I love you, Audra," he said.
Kane looked down at his leg. "Well, my leg is healed," he said. "The wound in my back is healed. But my back is still killing me." He laughed.
Kane chuckled. "Obviously it's still healing. That's my problem. I can heal others really fast, but when it comes to me, I heal quite slowly."
"Yeah," Kane said. "This is why I'm scared to death of sinkholes."
Then he asked Audra, "By the way, how are you feeling?"
Then he asked Audra, "By the way, how are you feeling?"
"Lemme get back to you on that one..." Her arms were cut up. Bloody lip. Scrape on her cheek. Headache. "Yeah, I'm good."
Kane touched her arms and healed the cuts. Then his hand came up and touched her cheek, healing the scrape on her cheek and the cut on her lip.
As he was healing her, he asked, "How bad is the headache?"
As he was healing her, he asked, "How bad is the headache?"
But she could hardly breathe for anxiety. The last healing had ended with her being unable to remember her own name. "Fine! Fine, fine, fine, fine! I'm fine! I'm fine!"
Kane took a couple steps back in surprise.
"I'm sorry," she said as calmly as she could manage. "I am so losing it. Again." She smacked her forehead.
"I wasn't going to heal your headache, since it would cancel your healing," Kane said quietly. "I was just going to see if I could lessen the pain."
