Try to remember that whatever you write might get added to your update feed too, unless you uncheck that box ;)I have a lot of feelings, but they've had a month to float away from me. Mostly I'm stuck with (view spoiler).
Also, I'm excited, finally excited (and not breathing heavy and nervous) about where Cersei's arc might be going. Plus Dany. I am luke warm about where Jon's might go (I am very attached to his loyalty to the Wall and it might ruin his character for me if they find a way to get him out of it). Melisandre was... well hell I loved her after this book.
I'd say the only one I ended up not liking in terms of POV characters was Victarion. I really hope he's a villain like he seems and not some kind of lame anti-hero, because HE IS THE WORST.
I'm over halfway into this book atm and although it was sort of slow going at first I'm really enjoying it a lot. I'm sad I haven't gotten to Cersi yet and I'm soo sad that Sansa isn't in this book but hopefully I can be patient and wait for her to show up in TWOW.I agree with you about Victarion from what I've read of him so far but GOD I think the Greyjoys (apart from Theon atm) are SO BORING I don't care about what happens to them at all and I always consider skipping Asha's chapters.
I neeeed more Martell's though. Quentyn is great but Arianne and the Sandsnakes are so perfect I hope there's more than that one chapter of them.
I love Asha. I hope she hooks up with the Martells at some point. But other than her and Theon the Greyjoys kind of bore me (I'm sort of neutral on most of them except Vic, who I hate mostly because he's framed as a good guy, but is actually THE WORST).A book without a Sansa POV was physically painful for me, I must admit, but having Dany and Jon back was nice.
I love little Quentyn, I wanna squish his cheeks. (view spoiler)
I can't remember if the Sandsnakes were more in this book than the last one, but I suspect they might have gotten more play in AFFC.
LMAO I'm not done with the book yet but that spoiler tag is literally the most ominous thing ever DDD:
I just finished the book and (view spoiler) But really that book was insane, I now need to go frolick through the wiki of ice and fire to learn everything about everything and start reading theories bc I love myself some theories.
