The Academy discussion

Rayne finally felt like she was able to breath when she walked in. They sat down. "Ugh, creepy,"she muttered.

"I don't want to die," she said, eyes wide. Then she frowned and said, "This girl, Brooklynn, told.me about how she accidentally killed a.vampire...guess what. She thought i was a vampire." She narrowed her eyes. "Then when i told her i wasnt, and turned music on she yelled at me to not play some siren music or whatever, and that's when she told me. Oh and then she was all nervous. So now.I'm freaked out. And annoyed." She sighed.

"Uh... She was fine at first. Then she was..." Rayne shook her head. "Weird." She rested her head on her hand.

She took a deep breath and released it. "Yeah," she said. "So, uh, on a random note... i was thinking of.getting a job." She shrugged.

She laughed. "Yes, because wandering around with you is so boring,"she teased, poking him.

"That's true, and I'm sure you'd get tired of me too. Too much wildness,"she teased back, grinning.

She laughed. "I guess you'd get used to no random dance parties and dull normal-ness. Oh, and me poking your face." She grinned, doubting he would get used to dullness.

She tried not to crack up. "And you wouldn't miss kissing me at all," she said wih jokingly seriousness. (Lol)

Surprised, she felt her face warm. "Hm, is it now?" She said.

She laughed. Sure, she thought, he looks even hotter like that but I can't let him know that. "You should really see your face right now," she chuckled.

She studied his face a moment then said, "Can't I say both?" She grinned.

She laughed and felt like she had to do something since she stared at him so long. "Hm." She poked his face. "You'd miss that more," she joked.

"Mhm." She leaned back in the chair and held up a menu. "What're you getting?" She asked.

She nodded. "Yeah, me too," she said. They ordered and their drinks came a few minutes later. She sipped the coffee. "So, you coukd get a job too," she joked.

"For me it would be part time, if that's an option. I'm not sure where I'd work though." She sighed.

"I was thinking that, too..." Rayne said thoughtfully. "I'm trying to think of somewhere..."She laughed. "Well the spa has water,"she joked.

"Ohh, cool." She nodded. "You should totally apply to that," she said, smiling.

Eleanor loved the coffee shop. She came here to study all the time and now she was working here. Life couldn't get any better than this. She had just stepped inside the shop to start her shift when she saw a couple of people from the academy.

Rayne grinned. "Awesomesauce." She gave the waitress a friendly smile as she saw her heading over there, though not knowing they went to the academy.

Eleanor walked over to them. "Can I help you?"

Rayne just nodded, since he ordered for her she didnt know what to say but, "Yep." Then she grinned at Zach cheesily and said, somewhat jokingly, "Thanks for ordering."

"sure." Eleanor walked away to get them their drinks, she would change into her uniform after.

"So..." Rayne said, exaggerating the word. "What's up." She almost laughed at herself.

eleanor made their drinks and smiling walked back over to them. "here you go. ask call if you need anything else." She walked away and stepped into the empolyee lounge and quickly changed itno her uniform.

eleanor walked back out of empolyee lounge and went start to work taking orders and making sure that tables were being waiteed by the other watiers and waitresses.

Rayne rolled her eyes. "Me too. Except, you know, I'm sitting with some weirdo dude instead,"she teased.

Rayne grinned, rolling.her eyes again. "The mermaid chick has vengeance,"she joked. Then she sipped.the coffee, but had to cover her.mouth to keep from spitting out the burning hot coffee that burnt her tongue.

She finally spit the coffee into the cup. "I would laugh right now but i can't feel my.tongue,"she mumbled, her.words sounding strange to her ears.

She frowned at him, glaring. "This isn't funny." She looked at his coffee. "Drink.your coffee and i'll say it."

"Blehh. You're so mean,"she said, pouting. She blew on the coffee. "Yay, my tongue doesn't feel.huge anymore." She stick out here tongue. "Is it big?"

She narrowed her eyes, sticking her tongue back in her.mouth, and punching him in the arm. "Shut up, creep,"she mumbled. (Lol)

"Mhm." Rayne rolled her eyes. "Funny. Maybe every guy I've met said that." She paused. "But okay, it's kinda funny..."she mumbled this last part. "No, not funny,"she said a little louder.

She stared at him, eyebrow raised. "And you think that why?" She asked.

"Aha, I've always known you're trying to corrupt my mind," she said jokingly, averting her gaze.

"Pfft." She laughed, then looked at the coffee. "Okay, i'll drink it if you will. On three."

She picked up her cup. "One...two...three!" She drank it. It wasnt hot.anymore but kind of cold. She stopped drinking it. "Oh come on!" She made a face at the cold.coffee.

"Grand," she said sarcastically. "Wanna go back to the dorm and watch a freaky movie?" She grinned.

She laughed. "No caffeine for you," she said.

Eleanors shift was over. She was too tired to change out of her uniform so she kept it and waved bye to the others.

Rayne walked in with Zach, finding a seat. "At least they're open this early,"she said.

She nodded. "Me too. Do me a favor and pinch me if I fall asleep," she said. The waiter came and they ordered their coffee. She leaned her head ln her arm while she waited for it.

She narrowed her eyes. "Hey, pokes don't hurt," she said defensively.

She looked at her hand. "I have bony fingers?"

She bit back a laugh. "I guess I never noticed."

"Wow," she said, staring at their hands. "You have big hands."

She grinned and held his hand. "Look, perfect fit," she joked.

She looked at his face and smiled. "Yep," she said.

She drank about half the coffee already after hers arrived. She was starting to feel more awake. "I can feel the caffeine working," she said, her leg jigging up and down under the table in her hyperness.
