aww! actually i'm getting bored, dahil kaya i'm not feeling well lang? damn this runny nose!but yes, they are likeable. quite a change from the complicated characters i've read in a while. ;) Part 2 na ko!
i'm done, LS! it was just ok for me ;(I just love Oliver's writing, kaya i continued reading even if the book didn't hold my interest anymore.
i read the authors note, at parang i can't bear to bash this book bcoz of that. lol
Cge next monday ulit!i liked how she wrapped up Po's ending :) Oo nga, overall maganda ending nya.
i liked Mo out of all of them.

Oliver must've been strong, to have the courage and strength to write about her sorrow. Nung book signing event nya last March, nakwento nya din nga na she lost a best friend. :(
LS! Wahahaha, i started Monstrumologist na, sowee. d ko alam, basta binasa ko na kagabi eh. LOLp62 pa lang ako pero... may certain "takot" vibe na akong nararamdaman. hehehe!
I love Cryer's Cross! Ganung ghost stories ang gustung gusto ko. hahaha!Hindi pa sya horror (not yet) pero there's this underlying current that gives you the idea that you should be scared. so maybe, Yancey's writing is effective :)
Haha eavesdrop time! Yes, may certain takot ang Monstrumologist. Parang yung horror movies na alam mo lang talaga na may mangyayaring masama sa kanila...pero di naman sila stupid people. Very atmospheric writing ni Yancey. :)
in fair, mejo nakaktakot ung feeling kht wala pang nangyayaring masama sa kanila. :)andun nko sa part na ung Doctor is demanding Will Henry's gratitude. What?!! same sentiments kami ni Will dito.
Dr. Warthrop is half-crazy, I think. Haha. The price of being a genius? Umabot ka na ba sa may cemetery scene?

Maria: yes that scene! Haha I remember binabasa ko yung part na yun nung nasa jeep tayo sa Alabat, papunta dun sa private beach! Haha sobrang fitting lang yung takot level nya sa outing na yun. :p
nag start na ako sa book na to kaso masyado siyang dark, d ko pa kayang magbasa ng ganun ngayon dahil sa mga pangyayari sa buhay ko ngayon... kaya pass muna ako sa Deadline at Monstrumologist hehehe!
aba naunahan mo pa ako. chapter 6 pa lang ako e. ung on the way to Deadham sila..istura pa lang ng anthropophagi gross na nga db, pano pa kaya kung may kainan, hatian, at patayan na nagaganap. LOL
Hahaha LS lesson learned! Don't read ANY Monstrumologist book while eating! Lalo na yung second!
Portfolio II na ko (Chapter 7)You know, ung Chapter 6 (Sanitorium scene with Varner), hindi naman sya nakakatakot tlg, pero bakit ganon? i have this feeling of dread lagi. hahaha, weird!
The scariest part for me sa chapter na un, ay hnd pa tungkol sa Anthropophagi, kundi dun sa isang patient "who wants to play" with Will Henry. *shudders*
scary talaga sa akin ang sanitoriums.

LS: It would make for an awesome horror movie diba? Especially the last part! Nung natapos ko binasa yan, nagbrownout right after haha! I found the second book was better and more personal, but this one sets the mood for the series :)

nakakapanibago na after nung ginawa nya kay Erasmus Gray, he saved naman ung bait ni Kearnes for the Anthropophagi.
Kearnes makes me smile, nakakahawa yata ang madness nya. ;)
Haha I think Kearnes goes back in Book 3 :) Sa second book (not a spoiler, don't worry) si Van Helsing naman may reference. Yep, there's so many things unknown about Warthrop. In the next book, mas maraming personal stuff ang irereveal sa kanya, kaya medyo mas maiintindihan mo sya. Medyo lang, kasi magulo pa rin siya dun. Haha.
I remember one scene that stood out for me here - yung kinuwento yung sa parents ni Will. Creepy/sad at the same time. :o
Pero yes, bagay sya for Halloween. Aaron and I are planning to read book 3 by then. Ang tagal pa kasi nung last book kaya ayoko rin muna basahin agad. :D

i started Liesl & Po na. i think this will be a fast read for me. the perfect light read after The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. Hehe.
