I wrote: "I'm headed to look at what's being offered, but thought I'd pass it along..."I visited. Offerings ranged from historical to thriller to cozy, etc. I wound up with two for my Nook app... A Poet's Funeral by John M. Daniel and Speak Now (Married to It/Charley Fairfax #1) by Margaret Dumas.
I've read Speak Now (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/47...) and its follow-up How to Succeed in Murder--loved both. The heroine is a bold, extremely well-to-do heiress "marriage-phobe" who comes home from a trip to London married to a mystery man. Soon a body winds up in the tub of their luxury hotel room...
A bit romantic, a bit sexy, a bit humorous, (more than) a bit mysterious, and a lot of fun. For $0.99, give it a try!!

20 @HarperPerennial ebooks for $20. You want?
Changing Hands
There's only one item I'd consider a cozy mystery, Two for Sorrow by Nicola Upson.
With 20 ebooks for .99 each, you might find some others.

Free ebook on Amazon today (not sure how long it will be free!)
(a Mari Duggins mystery) by Gina Conroy To unearth a killer, you have to get your fingernails dirty.
Archaeology Professor Mari Duggins is adjusting to life as a single mom, but she’s caught between the pull of her former flame and her ex-husband. When her colleague is murdered and her ex is accused of stealing an Egyptian artifact, Mari interferes in the FBI investigation, compelled to prove the innocence of her children’s father.
Soon she is buried deep in suspects. Her old flame, her student and tenant, the office secretary. No one is who they appear to be, and she begins to wonder where her loyalty and true affections lie.
Mari Duggins’ life caves in as she tries to excavate the truth, but realizes only God can dig her out of the hole she’s created. Will Mari sort through her muddled feelings and put her trust in someone else? Or will the truth bury her alive?

Harper Collins is having a 99-cent sale on 700 e-books. I know the pricing applies to Barnes & Noble and Amazon (but have not checked others).The Amazon link is easier for scrolling through the listings. Since I prefer Nook, I just searched the title or author on B&N and purchased there if the pricing was the same.
There are a lot of mysteries in the list, including cozies. The only negative is that most of the "series" are middle-of-the-pack offerings (and I prefer to read in order, if possible).
I am not familiar with Bartholomew Gill, but nine of his Peter McGarr Mysteries are on the list (available at both vendors noted above).
I don't usually buy e-books unless I know they're keepers, but I figured for 99 cents, I could try a few.
One of my freebie newsletters passed along a 99-cent sale on Shirley Rousseau Murphy's Joe Grey series. Listed were:* Cat Fear No Evil
* Cat Deck the Halls
* Cat Cross Their Graves
* Cat Breaking Free
* Cat Coming Home
* Cat Bearing Gifts -- latest...
All are 2004-2012, middle books (and the latest) of the series. I was going to post links, but checked and found they're priced the same on both Barnes and Noble and Amazon.
I've never read the series. Anyone???
Oops...
C. wrote: "I hope folks say "e-books" if they mean "e-books"."
They're e-books. I usually say that, sorry. Thanks for the catch!
Like you, C, I prefer tree books. However, free is free (and cheap is cheap) and I avail myself to the freebies via the PC apps for Nook and Kindle. Since others buy e-versions (and, if the author is right and the price is right, I might...), I post when I see a great deal.
I had a couple and took advantage to complete the series and even upgraded the 2 that had audible upgrades. :)
