Jade (jade4813) | 7 comments I'm looking for HEA romances where one of the parties involved isn't what they seem. They are, for one reason or another, undercover. In particular, I'm interested in either fairy tale retellings (like "Deerskin" where the heroine is a princess who runs away and pretends to be someone else) or historical romances (where the hero is pretending to be the butler or whatnot for whatever reason). I don't often read contemporary romance, but if there's one that's really great that someone can recommend, I'll check it out!

Pamela(AllHoney) (pamelap) | 14535 comments I'll look at my shelves and see what I can find. Most that I can think of on the top of my head are contemporary/romantic suspense.

Gerrie | 2856 comments Hi Josephina, I just joined this group and found this discussion. But, if you're still looking for HEA romances where one of the parties involved isn't what they seem, I can recommend a few. These are all historical romances (which is what I mainly read), and are what I can think of off the top of my head:

The Frog Earl by Carola Dunn Lord Carew's Bride (Signet Regency Romance) (Dark Angel, #2) by Mary Balogh The Spy's Kiss (The Couriers, #4) by Nita Abrams His Lordship's Mistress by Joan Wolf More Than a Mistress by Mary Balogh His at Night by Sherry Thomas
