Aiden sorted a few new books that had just come in and used the ladder to climb up to the higher shelves. Though he may not like working, this was a good way to get money and it was easy enough.
Brooklynn enters the shop and browses the shelfs not really interested in any of the titles…but had nothing better to do anyway.
Aiden turned to the door when he heard the bell that rang everytime someone opened the door, then said what he had been told to say everytime someone came in. "Welcome to Annie's books, home of every type of book you could ever want from study guides to fantasy books. Can I help you find or browse any titles?"
Brooklynn glances up seeing a hawt guy, who looked like he wanted to bite her head off for walking into the store. In a meek voice, she declines his help. "No, thanks. I'm just looking." Brooklynn gently moves past him towards the romance section of the store.
((I'm sorry. I just got home from a really rough weekend.))
"Alright. Just give me a holler if you need any help." He said in a very bored voice.
"Alright. Just give me a holler if you need any help." He said in a very bored voice.
(Pm me about it.I'm really sorry.)Brooklynn nods and turns away from him wondering if he would just leave her alone or stalk her around the bookstore like some people would, just because she is pretty looking and always alone. An easy target.
((K.I will. And now, I just found out some really scary news.))
He sat and watched her, intent on the way the curve of her body silhouetted against the dark glow of the walls of the store.

(Oh no!)Brooklynn finds an interesting book on mystical creatures and since she is going to be surrounding herself with them she might as wrll learn about them. She brought the book to where he lurked by the counter. "I do have a question for you actually?" A slight smile lingers on her lips.
((I pm'ed you.))
He climbed down from the ladder and went to the counter. "Yes?"
He climbed down from the ladder and went to the counter. "Yes?"
"Do you have anymore books like this one?" She hands him the book so he could look at it and her fingers graze his in the process. She bites her bottom lip as her heart fluttered from the contact.
He touched her hand gently, purposely, and takes the book. He smiled, knowing he had made her heart skip a beat. Looking at the book, he pointed to the corner of the shop. "All books of this genre would be found there."
He shrugged. This was his trick, he played hard-to-get, and the girls kept pushing him until he finally gave in for them. It was like a game. "I guess that part's up to you to find out."
Brooklynn shrugs. "Some help you are." She walks over to the shelf and starts taking books out and loudly putting them back.
"Sorry. They didn't tell me that part when I got the job." He stood up and walked behind her, pulling out books, reaching around her. "Here you go. His arm rubbed against her shoulder, ever so slightly.
Brook blushes and turns around suddenly inches from his face and smelling his minty fresh breath.Probably just popped a mint.
She smirks, "What changed your mind?"
He smiled. "Didn't need you to go complaining and make me lose my job." He lifted his eyebrows accusingly, then smiled, putting space between the two of them. "Hope that helped."
She accepts the book. "It does." Brooklynn twirls out of reach and puts her books on the counter. "How much is all this?"
Aiden pulled out his wallet. "It's on the house. Enjoy." He said with a wink.
Brooklynn unused to guys buying her things scrunches her brow. "I couldnt possibly accept that. Its too much. Why would you do that?"
He flicked his hair out of his eyes. "Please, don't worry about it. I got it."
"Hey." He stopped her. "Wanna hang out sometime?"
She turns around biting her lip again and diping her head down looking at the ground before meeting his eyes. "Yeah. Id like that. Im Brooklynn by the way."
He smiled. "Aiden. I'm here all week. Come visit me?"
"Where else am i going to get such great service?" Her laughter fills the shop as she leaves with her books.
"Great. See ya." He winked and went back to his perch atop the ladder.
Aiden saw her and immediately smiled. "Hey Brook. Glad to see you back." He said, and winked.
Brook smiles back and bites her lip, "Why wouldn't I be? The service alone is enough reason to come back."
Shane and Zarabeth walked into the bookstore. He looked around, wondering if he could find a book of spells or whatnot in here, since he still didn't know many of them.
"Yeah." He nodded, looking around. He saw two other people in there, one was probably someone who worked there. He glanced at Zarabeth and asked, "This place is huge... Where do you wanna look first?"
"Um..." She saw a section on biographies, a different on cooking, another section on fantasy. "Lets go over here." She walked towards the fantasy section.
"Okay." They walked to the fantasy section, his eyes gazing across different titles. He saw an interesting one and read the back.
He shrugged. "Depends. It can be anything as long as it's unique," he said simply. "What about you?"
"I usually like them. Some are better than others." She set the book down and picked up a different one.
He nodded, picking up a different book and reading the description. He nudged her to get her attention and handed the book to her. "Read the description, it sounds cool," he said, a smile tugging on the ends of his mouth. He definitely had to check that book out.
((Hmm... a guy who can transform into a dragon but he does it so much he unleashes this curse where he has to go through several trials or else he will be a scaly dragon with only one thought: kill.))
She read the back and nodded in agreement. "It sounds like it would be very suspensful." She handed the back back to Shane.
"Yeah." He took the book back, thinking of getting it as he looked at other books. "I'll be over here," he said, pointing to a section where he hoped he could find some spell books for studying.
He searched the shelves and scanned through a few books. Then he saw one with golden italics on the cover with flecks of silver on the lining of the pages. He flipped through it. It was more advanced, but he figured it would help him get a little ahead of the study method he'd made. He smiled slightly.
