The Feuding discussion

Geenevieve sat after a trek from their farm.

Lex sat by the lake, skipping rocks over the smooth surface.

Genevieve saw a person by the lake. She tried to catch his gaze.

Lex had that soft wavy red hair and his pale skin and soft freckles. He skipped another rock. He was only a year ahead of Genevieve.

My, he is handsome. I wonder who he is," thought Genevieve so she stood up and said, "Hello, my name is Genevieve Workhoax. I never saw you before, so I was interested."

He looked at her with a slight crooked grin. "I be Lex. Lex Donalds." He looked at her with those dark blue eyes. "Nice to meet ya."

"Nice to meet ye too, good sir," she curtsied courteously. I may have to ask Pa about the Donalds....

He smiled. "Whatcha doin' all the way out here with out a brother around?"

"I'm tryin'na find Gideon."

"Oh. I saw him on the path to the way here from Castings with a mighty fine young woman." Lex grinned. "Not sure if they courtin' or not."

"Thank you, good sir. Pa will be mad with him, going somewhere without his consent....."

Lex sighed, "Oh well. I think they were just catching up on his way home from working in the lumber."
