This is where we will start writing about Harriet Beecher Stowe's Uncle Tom's Cabin. The chosen person (Gustavo's choice) must write a short summary of the first chapter. The objective of this is to keep a record and it should be simple, short, but complete enough for people who didn't come to class on that day to just come read the summary and understand what's happening in the story. At night Mr. Legree had been absent on a trip to a neighboring farmhouse, Cassy and Emmeline were preparing to put their plan in execution.
