John Green had a passion for Shakespeare and I was thinking about this book yesterday in my english class while i was reading Romeo and Juliet and me being me came across a line that read 'two star-cross'd lovers' meaning they were destined to meet, fall in love and die because in Shakespeare's time the wheel of fortune was very sacred and they believed that your fortune could change instantly. Anyway, back to the main point, The Fault in Our Stars simply mean that their stars meaning them meeting has a fault in them meaning cancer so there you have it, The Fault in Our Stars actually has so much relevence to the book :)
