Right now I am reading To Heaven and Back (a true story) by Mary C. Neal and Unstuck by Arnie Cole + Michael Ross
I'm reading the Brides of the West series!...don't know who it's by...
Kayti wrote: "i am actually not reading any CF this month. I am reading The Leather-Stocking Tales by J.F. Cooper"I loved the leather-stocking tales, Kayti. I read them years ago.
Carrie wrote: "I'm getting ready to start Love in Disguise by Carol Cox."I hear a lot of great things about Carol Cox.
I have
Short-Straw Bride by Karen Witemeyer sitting here ready to go! The only thing I've been waiting on is an uninterrupted day, since I know once I start it, I won't want to put it down!
I'm almost finished with a collection of novellas, Smitten,
which I got at a conference last year. These are contemporaries, so I am looking forward to getting back to historicals after this.
I am reading the great new Montana series by Jillian Hart! Montana Homecoming and Montana Cowboy are from Love Inspired. The descriptive writing and the dialog are superb! And what a fun series this is turning out to be! Montana Homecoming was published in May 2012 and Montana Cowboy will be on the store shelves in July 2012.

This is my first read by her so I'm anxious to get started!
Now that my fourth book for Amish of Lancaster Series is finished and in process of getting published, I'm actually back to catching up on some reading of my fellow authors of Amish fiction. Karen Anna Vogel (Knitting Circle), Beverly Lewis (Fiddler), and Barbara Cameron (can't remember the title but it has a green cover) are on my list.
Just finished these two
"Bourne" by Lisa Tawn Bergren
"Ireland Rose" by Patricia StreflingPlan to start these two
"Rose's Legacy" by Patricia Strefling
"When The Smoke Clears" by Lynette Eason
Anne wrote: "I have

Up Next:
I'm trying to read a book a day in June so this is just my plan through June 10th and after that I'll decide what's next! Unstuck, World Religions, and In Six Days are my ongoing reads so I don't know when they will be finished.
Finished:
I'm currently reading:
What I hope to read:
I'm not sure why I do this, but for some reason I always start new books before I finish one. I think I'm a little ADD =)
Also I'm pretty sure finishing all these books will never happen this month but here's hoping!
I am reading the "Brides of Culdee Creek" series by Kathleen Morgan. I am on book four: Child of Promise.
Melanie wrote: "I am reading the "Brides of Culdee Creek" series by Kathleen Morgan. I am on book four: Child of Promise."Just curious... Did you like book three? I didn't really like it very much & am still debating whether or not to get book four.
I'm always reading more than one thing at a time. I'm hoping to finish a nine book collection on Fitzgerald (which doesn't apply to this group, sorry), I also will finish
,
and I'm not sure what I'll read after that. I don't plan that far in advance. I usually go by whatever I feel in the mood for - or what I've been sent in the mail.I just finished
and it was very good. I was getting ready to write a review on that one this week.
was also wonderful. I'm a little behind in reviews. I think I owe three books a review. {hiding head in shame}
Finished Smitten last night and started Sarah Sundin's A Distant Melody
. I could easily have stayed up all night to finish it, it was so good. As it was I stayed up till past midnight. This is the first time I've read her & she hooked me from page 1. I didn't think I'd like it when I read the cover copy, b/c it was supposed to be about a WWII correspondence between the h/h, and I didn't want to have a hero/heroine apart for most of the book. But they're together for the first third, and there's such good dialogue & development of the relationship that it makes up for any time they're apart.
One suggestion to everyone. When you post a book cover, it would help if you'd type the title as well. These covers are so tiny that it's impossible to tell what they are/who the authors are from just the titles. Thanks!
I'm reading The Wedding Dress by Rachel Hauck. So far, so good. Hope to get some reading done this weekend.
Lately, I'm being asked to read other author's books to endorse them. Which winds up taking most of the reading time I have. But these books aren't out yet, so don't be surprised if you haven't heard of them. I just read A Heartbeat Away, the new book by Dr Harry Kraus, a medical suspense thriller. It was SO good (I don't normally read med books, but I loved it.
Now I'm reading bestselling author, Jason Wright's new novel, The 13th Day of Christmas. So far, so good.
Hi Dan, I just recently finished your The Homecoming
. Loved it. Between that & Sarah Sundin's, I can get hooked on the WWII period, LOL.
Finished A Heart Divided getting ready to start A Love Forbidden: A Novel by Kathleen Morgan the next book in The Rockies series
Ruth wrote: "Hi Dan, I just recently finished your The Homecoming [bookcover:The Homecoming: A Novel]. Loved it. If you liked The Homecoming, you should love my newest one, The Discovery. It begins in the present, then goes back to the WW2 years (a novel within a novel).
Anne wrote: "I have

Please tell me how you are posting these book covers. Do we need an html link, a widget or what? Thanks!Sharon
Right above the box that you use for commenting, it says add book/author just click on that type in the name of the book hit search, when the right one comes up hit add, and also you would want to click cover at the bottom.
I'm currently reading (at least as far as Christian fiction goes, since I'm also reading 2 young adults and 3 romances)these:Mary Magadalie by Diana Wallis Taylor

Heart's Safe Passage by Laurie Alice Eakes
Will be starting soon:
Director's Cut by Janice Thompson
Prophet by RJ Lawson

Haven't read any by those authors, but I have Mona Hodgson, Laurie Alice Eakes, Janice Thompson, and Liz Curtis Higgs on my to-read list.
Laurie Alice Eakes is pretty good. I've read two of her books so far

I'd love to but the site is blocked here at work! :( What would you recommend as my first book of yours to read? I'm open to trying new authors!!!
Abigail wrote: "Haven't read any by those authors, but I have Mona Hodgson, Laurie Alice Eakes, Janice Thompson, and Liz Curtis Higgs on my to-read list."Abigail, I LOVE Liz! My favorites of hers are MIne Is the Night (book 2)
and Here Burns My Candle (book 1)
I loved The Merchant's Daughter, and also her other book. Black Prince looks interesting. Looks like it's free today on Amazon as a download.
Hazardous DutyThe Case for Christ, Youth Edition: A Journalist's Personal Investigation of the Evidence of Jesus

The site is blocked? Wonder why? I have 5 out now, all in a similar genre (I started getting compared to Sparks at Book 2, The Homecoming). The other author they compare me to is Richard Paul Evans (2 of mine are Christmas novels).
You could pick any of them, since they are all stand-alones. Except the first 2, which go together. Since it's June, you might want to skip the 2 Christmas novels. Maybe The Deepest Waters or the newest one, The Discovery. If you like either of them, you should enjoy the others.
If you check them out here on Goodreads, there's a ton of reviews for each already, should give you a preview.

Dan, the site is blocked for dynamic content (aka moving banners and such). It's pretty pathetic which ones get blocked and which ones don't. Whatever!
I'll check out your book and reviews here on Good Reads! I'm always looking for new authors to read! Thanks for the information!
