Marc Bangalan | 9 comments Strong/Poignant "word" image from the selection:

I feel good about myself since I met you. Since the days with Clara, when you could see nothing else but her and I was watching you.

Three new words:
-ballast
-rivetted
-veers

Two examples of rhetorical/literary devices:
"A group of redcaps were standing with three large cages full of dogs, all of whom were barking like aristocrats claiming to be wrongly imprisoned." - Simile

"Ambrose spoke slowly, the uninterested words came from his dark, half-naked shape as if all this was just the emptying of pails to be free of ballast." - Imagery

One sentence statement of your impressions/feelings/reactions towards the section:

The overall story was full of twists and turns, and I think this book will make people a whole new kind of human beings, dating from when new Canadian immigrants changed and gave history to the country.
