Literary Fiction by People of Color discussion

Exciting news! Pulitzer Prize-winning author Natasha Trethewey has been named poet laureate! She is one of my favorite poets and she is the the first African-American to hold the post since Rita Dove in 1993. Her collection Native Guard won the Pulitzer in 2007. I have heard her read her work several times and she is always amazing. Her new collection, Thrall, is scheduled to be published in September.
