He had come out in the 8th grade and now regretted it. He had never attempted suicide but had considered it.
That friend had helped him through so much. His parents knew he was gay and they weren't very accepting.
((you really think I'm a guy? :P no I'm the nerdy girl with glasses and blue hair in my pic xD))Jake wrote poetry and played guitar to ease his suffering and it helped greatly.

((joe is a nickname of mine xD lol it's ok))He was very nice and had a crush on this one boy. His name was Nick and he thought he actually nity be gay but he couldn't be sure.
((it's fine ^_^))Jake could hardly speak and just smiled at him really. He had asked about where te lunch room was, he was a transfer from England.
That he could be in of course, seeing as his parents don't agree with, "his way of life." They almost threw him out on a few occasions but he sunk in to say goodnight to his sister before going to his friend's house.
One more year and then they could run away and not have to deal with his parents. He had a job and a car as well as a license. He was basically living on his own.
He had a countdown on his calendar. he fantasized what his parents would say when they found him gone
He smiled at the thought of finally getting a pet. He loved animals but his parents never allowed him to have one.
He even wrote a song for his guitar, and sang it under his breath when people glared at him or made fun of him
Jake lay away each and every penny he worked hard to get for his sister's treatment.(anybody feeling emotional?)
He worked at a small bookstore off main street, which was owned by Mr. Haywood, his one real friend. When things got bad at home, Mr. Haywood let him sleep in the bookshop, claiming he was the night guard with a wink and a smile.
He felt instantly safe and comfortable in cozy shop, and he liked it much better than his own room. But his sister always got scared when he was gone, convinced he had left, so he tried not to do it too often
He decided that he was done being ashamed for being gay. Now, if anyone laughed at him, he would just smile and move on
But it wasn't exactly easy, smiling at the snickering faces. After a while, it just made him even more miserable
