Sam Oxby (samoxby) | 2 comments Hi Guys,

I found your group by looking for Scottish related groups on Goodreads. I'm not from the Falkirk area (as you say you started the group to join local readers together) but am based in Inverness! And the only other group (apart from the one I started 'Inverness Readers' if you want to have a look?) are based in the area.

I have an insatiable love of reading but not as much time to put into this as I'd like, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on good books etc, and if possible I'd like to read your 'designated/voted for' book each month to then discuss with you, but can't guarantee this yet - due to work commitments etc.

Just out of interest what do you guys do in regards to work?

Sam.

Hi sam sorry i haven't been checking this! I didn't expect anyone to take an interest lol. :( That's fab I love reading too great escape but like you work tends to get in the way as well as crafting. I work with carers and nurses putting them into work (it's an agency of sorts). I met Stevi through a previous job. X lauren

Sam Oxby (samoxby) | 2 comments Hey Lauren,

No worries about the delay - I think I'm on here more often than not, I check it almost as much as facebook :S

I work from home at present with my husband in our own web design company, though we're hoping to move into an office in the next few months - so that we can have a defined work and home life again! But it currently gives me the freedom to move my work around other commitments - or really good 'can't put this down' books.

I'm sure it said somewhere whether you were reading a specific book at the moment, but I don't seem to be able to find it now.

What are you reading at present? And is there something that I could read alongside?

Sam.
