think of it like this, it's a video game and we're 9 levels up, when someone answers correctly everyone else loses a level but they stay where the currently are. Make sense?

No, if someone guesses wrong, It will not count towards their score (I don't want to make folks afraid to respond, ya know?), the only time you'll see a change in the scores is when someone answers correctly.

Here’s how you play:
This game is played in rounds. In each round, everyone will start off with ”Nine Lives”. I’ll ask a question and the first person to answer correctly, keeps their life, everyone else loses a life. The person at the end of each round with the most lives wins that round. (NOTE: There are NINE questions per round)
Example:
Me: These animal are said to have “9 Lives”
You: Cats!
Me: Correct, you still have 9 Lives, the rest of the players in this round have 8.
You may elect to participate or not in each round, but once you sign up for a round, I will count each “non-response” as an incorrect answer and you will lose a life. (So if you know you’re going out of town for a week, don’t sign up for the next round, wait until you come back :D)
