Struggling Writers discussion

Hi, technically i am no longer new so i know how this works. Lots of you have seen me before with a different picture profile but i am Ingrid. I have been struggling with punctuation grammar and fluidity since i was 9 but i never stopped. I vow on oath not to delete any of these stories i am about to show you, but to just really REALLY revise them there are two i am working on----one is a collection of writing prompts, the second is an old contest entry i worked on but lost and am now deeply revising it. Hope you can critique on my fluidity and intro of characters. Please do. I need to become as good as you, right??

Most people would like being better than me. I one had 60 word sentence and my the only thing worse than my grammar is likely my spelling. And as if I needed my own signature to punctuate the need for re-writes... When there's a synonym involved, I am almost guaranteed to have picked the wrong one... even when I know better.

I'll read your stuff, how deeply do you want me to critique it and do you want me to post my thoughts here, as a comment on the writing itself or in a PM (email?) to you?

i wrote a lot of new poems on my threads. but i was wondering if anyone could look at this i added yesterday called the Platitude Of A Priest. It was a last minute poem, and I thought I'd add it into my POF (Poems of Failures) because I recently entered it into a contest and realized the flaws of it after submitting it. But if anyone could advise me what things were good or bad, or needed fixing, please let me know! I was also hoping if someone could help me to write better poetry, meaning that I want to write good concrete poetry, like some famous poets today, that are deep and go beyond more than just "summer" and "halloween" rhymes.

Hi! My thread is almost extinct and I think I will have to recategorize the folder for showing viewers' writing so more threads are viewed and paged.

Right now I am working on a freewrite. Basically for a freewrite I intend to only partition in a chapter and then abandon it, so I do not want to (for now) add any more detail into this one, but i realize how much help I need in it because it is choppy and not the result i hoped it would transmorph into!!!! Please help me. The title is called Elizabeth. I deleted the word Saving and just stuck to Elizabeth. Critique is immensely needed!!!!!

To all of you who are a fresh face, I'm Ingrid, the head Moderator of Struggling Writers! First off, thank you for having the will and patience to open this topic after months of repose. But this isn't to post any body link.

Today is CHRISTMAS EVE. That means instead of me giving YOU my story for short review and feedback, I want to do the opposite.

From today through Friday evening, I will stand on an oath to read ALL of your stories. You're in luck, heavy-writers. I will critique and give you my review on your writing as best as I can in three days time. Why? Because I want you to achieve better, and I know how deficient I've been in the sponsoring of the group. Jessica, Irene, Tara, and Laura will pardon this, so they won't necessarily try doing what I'll do. And already their amount in the glue of this foundation wouldn't be accredited to anyone but.

For those of you smart enough to open this topic, good catching on.
