I agree, I think it fit perfectly as the last line of the book.

Just finished the booked tonight and I agree with the last line!! It was a perfect ending and it put a smile on my face.

The last line...no question! Awesome ending!

Last line. It says everything.

I actually liked a poem from the book:

Melancholy, my old friend, visits frequent, once again.

What Abe says to his father right after he kills his first vampire.

"You've killed us."

"On the contrary I've killed him."

"More will come."

"Then I shall need more stakes."

"The day Henry made a choice....that some men are just too interesting to die."

"The dead has seen the end of war"

*if I'm not mistaken but I think it has the same sense but different construction of words.

Yes, way too interesting for us not to learn something from their words...their actions.

Best Quote from this book was actually from another... "I am a foe to tyrants, and my country's friend." Julius Caesar, Act V, scene 4.

I absolutely loved this line. I loved it so much that I read it three more times before moving on in the text.

Hands down.

I fear that a life of death has made me numb to both.

For me, it was just one of those lines that you have to read twice and then it just sticks with you long after you finish the book.

i loved the last line "some people are just to interesting to die." that was a fantastic ending!
