Guinea pigs discussion

Bella always takes all of the hay out of her hay rack. I want it up there because she goes to the bathroom everywhere and I dont want all of the hay to get soiled. What should I do??

It's ok if she takes it down. But then again you don;t want to waste it or have it get moldy.

I put my hay in a paper towel tube. It is a fun toy and they can get it dirty!

Oops!!! I ment to say can't. Mine get so hungery getting it out, they umeatetly start eating it!

She bit my friend today. I don't know what it is with her and biting my friend. she bit her at my birthday party too.

Does your friend have a guinea pig? Did she just have food? Is your friend holding her wrong?

She doesnt have a guinea pig. She wasnt even holding her one time.Bella walked up to her and bit her. We were feeding her hay She was holding her fine

Pigs have poor eye sight, so a fingure could easily look like food. Also, she doesn't know your friend, she is new. Biting is how baby guinea pigs learn. She knows wh you are, but she has no idea who your friend is.

She LOVES my other friend who has two guinea pigs of her own and she used to have another one but he died during a thunderstorm when he was really scared

I am so sorry for your friend. My hamster gave her self a heart attack spinning on her wheel.

I don't know. Biting is a baby thing. Have your friend hold her in a towel. Then she wont scratch her and the guinea pig will feel safer.

Yeah she was young like 6 when she had him but she took good care of him. In her room there was a picture of her in a bathing suit holding him.

I like guinea pigs but I want a hamster because I think their exercise wheel is so cool.

I have owned several hammys. Like guinea pigs they are not toys. They are alot of hard work.

They need to be played with, sosolized, cleaned. There is alot of work that needs to be done.

Hamsters make great pets!
