So far, I am not enjoying this book at all. I'm halfway through it and it's just filled with anti-feminism and unhelpful similes and annoying characters. I can't count the amount of times I've taken a break from it to rub my head, roll my eyes, make gagging sounds or turn and bang my head into the nearest vertical surface. :L Not the book for me. Has anyone else read it?
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :O
I've read it and it's in my top 3 favorites! I can't imagine anyone NOT liking it, haha.

Really? What did you like about it?
Everything! I love Xavier and the romance and the way the author writes. I just love everything about the book
Hmm. I do like the way the author writes. But I find Xavier soooo two-dimensional. I think the worst for me is the sexism in this book. The women are always needing protection from the men. And the plot is like swiss cheese. But maybe I'm just over-analyzing it.
Haha I love when women have to be protected by men. One of my favorite qualities in a guy is protectiveness :)
Really? I find it frustrating. Women are equal; they shouldn't always be the damsel-in-distress.
It doesn't have to mean men and women aren't equal. It just shows that a man can protect a woman, which I think is sweet :)
Well, I see what you mean. Protective is a good trait in a guy. But I don't feel that it was properly portrayed in Halo. To me, it came across as sexist in the book. But, we all have our opinions.
Just finished this book. So glad to have it over with. My review's coming soon.
