Aside from myself (how's that for shameless promotion?), my favorite author in sci-fi and fantasy is C.S.Lewis. I might also add Wm Paul Young here for his blockbuster novel, "The Shack." I'm not sure how to classify that one and I know it is controversial, but I found it a good read. For historical fiction, I'd have to say McKinley Kanter, although I warn you, he's quite edgy, if you know what I mean (R rated & non-Christian)--I just enjoyed his writing style and applied some it in writing my novels. Falkner would be close second. For strictly Biblical novels like my first one, perhaps Lloyd C. Douglas would be another good one.
My favourite authors:- Tolkien
- C. S. Lewis
- Christian M. Frank
- Paul Stewart
- Trenton Lee Stewart
- L. M. Montgomery
- Regina Doman
- Robin Jones Gunn
- Lloyd Alexander
- Laura Ingalls Wilder
And...err...myself? :P

Hi I am Cheryl and just getting into GoodReads I'm a Fan of author Geoffrey Wood and think those in this group would enjoy his two books.
Become a fan of author Geoffrey Wood and his tow books "Leaper" and "The God Cookie".
