Appearance: Nick is very strong and fit from training for golf. Lately, that fitness has been directed elsewhere from sport. He is taller than the average person, about 6'3" or 6'4", and also naturally thin. He is quite tan from all the time he's spent outside golfing, and has a terrible tan line from his socks. White blonde hair and pale blue eyes complete his delicate, small-boned face, obvious European decent.
Personality: Nick cares about Natalya and winning, though not necessarily in that order. Natalya is the only person he's ever trusted; she's the only person in his life who has always been there for him. There are some major trust/abandonment issues left over from his childhood. He has poor control over his temper, and is likely to fly into a fit of rage at any given moment. Needless to say, he is a very scary drunk.
Background: Nick's parents didn't seem to think too much about having kids. They were never really around, usually off at some big party, and Nick and Natalya grew up with nannies that changed every three months or so. Once Nick started to make a name for himself in golf, he moved out and found a place of his own. It was a struggle at first, but he recently won a couple of big tournaments, gained pro status, and bought a penthouse. Naturally, the zombie apocolypse began about two months later.

Appearance: Natalya is tall, like her brother, about 5'10", and very thin. In fact, she is too thin; she has very little muscle and is edging on aneroxic. As a professional ballerina, it is not surprising, but it is a little sad. She has a pale blue eyes and a delicate face framed by long, straing blonde hair that she almost always has up in a professional ballet bun.
Personality: Natalya is a very driven, determined individual. In her eyes, everything is a competition, and she is prepared to win. Highly intelligent and nearly impossible to phase, she is a force to be reckoned with. On the other hand, her people skills suck. She is overly direct and brusque, and has a terrible mean streak that sometimes comes out. Cutting remarks are her specialty.

Personality: Penny comes across as a spoiled rich girl when you first meet her. But once you get to know her you realize that she's actually a nice girl who is just slow to trust people and kinda scared from the world. She hides her emotions behind a mask of uncaring haughtiness.
Background: Penny was born to two young adults. It wasn't planned or anything, and her parents weren't married. When her mom found out she was pregnant, she and her husband eloped off to Las Vegas in order to avoid the disapproval of both of their parents. Wouldn't you know it, her dad was one of the lucky people who made big bucks at the casinos in vegas. Quickly bringing his family up in the world from barely middle class to millionaire in a matter of days. They moved over to a small suburb of NYC, and her father made wise investments in real estate. Since she was little she was spoiled by her parents due to her father thinking that because of her he won his fortune. She was sent to the best schools, traveled many places, got all the lessons she wanted, went to dozens of summer camps, and was about to go to Harvard when the zombie outbreak started.

Skills: Fencing, moving silently, very basic survival(used to love going to survival camps as a kid, but barely remembers anything now), martial arts, horseback riding(not that it does her much good), rock climbing, dancing, singing, and other random things she begged her dad to let her learn. Most of it she has found little use for.
Other: Has been on her own in an abandoned hotel/diner for a while now. The people who ran the building bought the building from her father, and when the zombie outbreak started the owners fled to Australia in the hopes to get away. The building was left abandoned, boarded up, and thankfully intact. From being alone for a couple of weeks she's started to feel like she's loosing touch with sanity. Oh, and she has a little dog that goes everywhere with her. His name is Romeo.

Appearance: In this, Morgan is hiding behind a bush. She doesn't always look like that...
Morgan is very fair skinned, freckle-less and mostly unblemished(the most noticeable mark is a birthmark that looks somewhat like a bird just above her right collarbone). Her eyes are grey-blue, sort of like they can't decide which they are(sometimes they're definitely blue, then grey, then a cloudy mix of both, and back to blue). Morgan's fairly tall, at about 5'9"; she's strong and she's fast, and she can hide very well.
Personality: Morgan is trusting. Almost blindly so. If someone living and not coughing up blood or trying to eat her alive comes to her, she'll assume the best and try to help them as much as she can. Even still, her survival greatly outweighs anyone else's; much as it might hurt her later, at least there's still a her to hurt, right?
Oddly enough, Morgan has been alone for most of the apocalypse. This she does not mind. Something about working alone helps Morgan... go. Sure, having someone to talk to once in a while is nice, but being left alone suits her just fine as well.
Another thing that keeps her going, always ready for the next day, is her absolute hate for the undead. Now, this hate is controlled to an extent. She doesn't really hunt them, though she does wander the streets with a gun. But if one were to come across her, she'd shoot it without a second thought, even and sometimes especially if it used to be someone she knew.
In a nutshell, Morgan is friendly to humans, though often alone(and unminding), and hates all undead. She's a 25 year old who still has a connection with her younger side, who finds nothing wrong with someone hiding(a rule: NEVER be a hero) until the danger passes.
Background: Morgan Stewart is the child of a writing mother and a trucker father who was rarely at home. She and her two siblings, Geoff(8 years younger than Morgan) and Sammy(Samantha, 4 years younger than Morgan) lived with their mother, aunt and uncle, and cousins(Juniper, 1 year younger than Morgan; Liben, 6 years younger than Morgan) in a rather nice house in Idaho for almost all of Morgan's childhood.
When she was 17, just after she finished high school, they all picked up and moved to southern Vermont, as they had lost the house(for reasons Morgan would rather not disclose). In Vermont, things moved on as normal with Juniper and Morgan searching for colleges and the rest getting adjusted to new schools.
Juniper and Morgan were traveling for - supposedly - a few weeks to NYC, to check out the college there and in the areas around, when the infection began and in hours they were quarantined inside...

Combat Ability: In the best conditions, about a 70-75%. In the worst conditions, about a 40-45%.
»Preferred Weapon: A small rifle(her uncle had one just PERFECT for zombies, and due to his constant worry of a zombie apocalypse(normally they're based in NY), he gave it to her before she went to NYC, along with several cases of ammunition), a shotgun, two pistols, a sledgehammer, a chainsaw, etc. The one she uses most often is her rifle.
Current Weapons: Her uncle's rifle(named Facebiter), a shotgun, a pistol, and a small chainsaw. And a van(she and Juniper drove to NYC).
Survival Instinct: 80% or higher. Above ANYTHING Morgan values herself. She may care about other people, but if it means her survival, she'll leave them down there(or maybe just kill them herself and get the pain over with). She also detests getting hurt(other than minor cuts and burns and falls), and would rather blow her own brains out than get eaten alive or turned.
»Place of Residency: Super 8 motel(rooms 9 and 10, occasionally 11; third floor).
Skills: Morgan can climb things. Anything, as long as she can get her hands up there. She's REALLY good at climbing, and that helps her stay alive. She's also quite fast, and can hold very, very still; almost unnaturally so. Morgan is also a fairly adequate cook of simple recipes; can fire, load, and take care of a variety of guns; and can drive, hotwire, and manually refill the gasoline for a car.

Personality: Data is very cyber involved. She is quiet and geeky, but seems to know everything thanks to her many hours of research. She does not get along with people well, and normally doesn't know how to act around them.
Background: Data's dad was the CEO of a big technology company and let her test all the prototypes. Since she was little, she's been able to work almost any phone, game, or electronic.

Other: She has converted the basement of the school she's living in into a house, compleat with running water, heat, and an actual bed. She re-directed the security feeds to a TV in the basement.

Appearance: Gage is tall, with dark hair and brown eyes. He's tan, slightly muscular, but mostly lean. Nothing about him is very unique.
Personality: He does his best to stay light, but how can you in a time like this? He wishes he didn't live, but has taken his life as a sign he was meant to survive the whole thing. He's slightly full of himself and doesn't take orders.
Background: Tiberius was the son of one of the richest men in the world. His father was the owner of the biggest oil company, giving him the nickname 'Prince of Black Gold'. Once the zombies hit, he lived out a few months with enough protection to pretend nothing had happened. When zombies overrun their home, he ran, didn't even look back. He never liked his family anyway. He likes to tell himself it was a hard decision, but really, it wasn't.
Family: He has a younger brother, but has no idea if he's alive or not.
Combat Ability: 67% Because he was rich, he was able to learn anything he wanted. Lucky for him, being a typical guy, he liked to shoot guns and take karate and boxing. He's not a professional or anything, but he can hold his own.
»Preferred Weapon: He likes guns. The usual AK-47 has been his recent companion, but he always keeps a knife on him, just in case.
Survival Instinct: 40% He went camping. Once. But he's always had people to look after him, so he's not that great.
»Place of Residency: The penthouse of an apartment building. He's knocked out all the stairs so zombies can't get up.
Skills: He can shoot, persuade people(Though he hasn't found many) and do some awesome karate/kickboxing moves. Since the outbreak, he has found a good instinct for finding food, and he can go days without eating with no side affects.

Personality: Vince is kinda hard to describe really, with his personality 'alter ego' disorder hanging over his head, threatening to come out and take control. This usually happens when he feels constrained or 'backed into a corner'.
The Good Vince: He is actually very smart for a kid who's schooling only went up to the eleventh grade. When push comes to shove, he likes to come up with some strange idea that would help...but sometimes those ideas seem a little outlandish at times. Over all he covers up his 'disorder' with a friendly personality, such as: Helping people, willing to go out on a limb for someone in need, risking his hide for someone whose caught in a horde of the undead.
The Bad Vince: Just like any other alter ego he is mostly composed of jealousy, hate, and a 'everyone for himself' type of personality. When something bad is going down (like being trapped with a group when the undead is trying to break in to their building) he is even willing to kill someone just to save himself.
Background:It all started when he was a kid with a dad who found joy at a bottom of a beer bottle. This dad, who was named Rick, use to beat both their mother and Vince, leaving scars both physically and mentally.
It was a summer day when 'the other guy' showed his grotesque face to Vince, almost scaring him half to death. What happened? He was being pushed around by a Hispanic gang who hated Vince for what he looked like. With out warning Vince turned dangerous, into a master of fighting...almost killing one of the boys by punching upwards on their nose, forcing the small bone almost to shoot up into the brain.
After that day, it was all was different. Vince realized that he needed to control this 'beast' that hid underneath his skin and he also realized that he needed to learn some moves from it. And learn he did.
Soon after his fighting skills increased some did he realize that something was breaking out...something that was turning the dead into the undead. From that moment on he tried to protect his mother and his bedridden father from the virus but nothing could protect them from the 'Live Death'. Before his father became a zombie, he gave Vince some weapons that would save his life more then once.
Family: His parents are both zombies and his sister died in a hit and run.

Skills: He is a master of sword dueling and technique, that is why he uses his swords more then his two guns. But when it comes to fist fighting, he sucks. He also built up his immunity from normal colds so when in battle, he won't be distracted. Since the outbreak, he has been trying to improve his mobility and flexibility...its a work in progress.
Other: When battling the Zombie's with his sword, he covers his body with: Paintball mask with the holes/grooves filled in, a hat to cover his hair, long sleeved shirt with gloves (the shirt is duck taped to the gloves), and thick pants that's duck taped to combat boots. This is to keep the infected blood off of his skin.
And since he has an alter ego, he is emotionally unsteady.

Appearance:
Personality: Alyson is a hermit by nature, only leaving her house when she absolutely had to. She tolerates people but prefers to be alone instead of with a crowd. However when she is with people she is very outgoing in their presence. Al loves to help and often overworks herself in the process. Due to this she can sometimes bite off more than she can chew and get herself into trouble. Alyson tends to not like authority figures, but there are some she respects. She prefers to go her own way.
Background: Alyson was born and raised in Scotland. When she was little she watched her mom make her fresh bread and other delicious food that she loved so much she wanted to learn how to make them too. Soon she fell in love with cooking. When she graduated highschool she moved to New York to go to college to become a chef.

Personality: If ever one's personality could have been said to be by the book, then it would be Nate's. An all-round nice guy, he led his men by example, showing bravery, compassion, imtegrity and nerves of steel when each situation demanded such a response. Two tours of duty to Iraq and Afghanistan have taken it's toll on him, and where he was inclined to trust, suspicion now resides. Trying his very best to adhere to the two principles his late mother taught him, Nate tries to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, and to do things for the sake of helping rather than in hope of receiving thanks. 'People might not thank you, might hate you even, but so long as you did what's right, all that doesn't matter.'
Background: He thought he had seen it all with the succesful conclusion of his final tour of duty. Returning to a wife he hadn't seen for little over half a year, hey were overjoyed to find that the saw pregnant after only two months of trying. Having secured his discharge, Nate had endeavoured to live the civilian life, a life that seemed another world away, but one he wanted more than anything, for both his sake, and Caroline's.
His parents got divorced when he was 7, and after his father absconded, he had to learn how to deal with a depressive alcoholic mother, stepping onto the fast track to adulthood, which he had achieved at the tender age of 9. This instilled in him an unshakeable sense of responsibility, and he promised himself that he would not turn out like his father, whom he wanted nothing to do with. When his mother died of an overdose when he was 13, he was taken in by his bachelor uncle, retired marine lance corporal, and it was from Uncle Luke, that Nate had his first introduction to life as a military man. Exceptional at sports, particularly gridiron, Nate obtained a football scholarship to attend college. Graduating near the top of his class, he applied to military academy and was accepted.That was the proudest day of his life.

Caroline has dark hair and startlingly light blue eyes. She's always fought to keep a smile on her face, even if it's just a small smile of hope. People call her pretty, but as her pregnancy continues her self esteem shrinks lower and lower.
Personality: Caroline is described easily. Strong. She doesn't complain, she doesn't whine. If something is hard for her she won't tell a soul. She's kind to strangers(A little too kind sometimes) and has complete hope. When she wants to, she can be stubborn in the most annoying way.
Background: Caroline was always a fighter. She was always a supporter. When she married Nate she thought she couldn't get any happier, and the few weeks he was home carried her through his months of absence. She feared every day he wouldn't come home but every day she put on a smile for the world. After she realised she was pregnant, she cried so hard Nate thought she was sad. But she cried from happiness.
After the outbreak, she made sure she stayed strong. Not once has she complained, although it has been hard. She still sometimes looks at Nate and sees how hard it must be for him. It makes her want to fight more, be stronger.

Skills: She can take whatever disgusting food they find and turn it into something delicious, or at least something less disgusting. She has unnaturally good sight and hearing, but doesn't get the opportunity to use it too often, as Nate takes good care of her. She's learned to patch up wounds pretty well. Anything she can do in her state, she'll learn.

Personality: Calm and collect. He isn't easily excited and this situation isn't any different. He is generally happy, but doesn't like to show it. His demeanor can be a little intimidating to those who don't know him, but he likes most people and gets along with a lot of people. He doesn't like annoying people, but again doesn't show it. He smiles when he's really happy and only has cried, as far as he knows, when he was a baby and when he saw his family dead.
Background: He was born in Japan a few years before his sister and when his family moved to America. His father was the owner of a esteemed kendo school in NYC, where Michael learned how to wield the sword. He eventually became very fit to other forms of sword wielding, such as fencing and two-handed swords. He became the strongest sword-wielder of the family, and was about to accept the dojo when the outbreak happened. At first, he refused to leave the dojo, fending off the infected to protect his family's honor. It got to the point, however, that there were too many. He attempted to escape with his family, but his parents were trapped by the infected. He was the only one who escaped from the dojo. His sister was being sheltered at her school at the time. He soon returned to the dojo, seeing many infected. He killed them off, using the swords that he took with him. He met up with his parents, infected themselves. He hesitated in striking them down, and for it he got bitten by them. He killed them and realized that he was miraculously immune to the disease, but the bite that he got remained, being scarred. Skills: Mastered kendo style sword fighting and is quite good in fencing saber and two-handed sword. He is a very good cook and knows how to barricade something fairly (his only survival skills). He learned how to shoot a gun, but hates doing it seeing it as a dishonorable way to fight. Great Eye-sight and hearing, but poor smelling. He also was only an average student when he was in school. He understands the pains of those around him, but doesn't know how to deal with them. He doesn't understand wounds very much, so the bite on his arm was wrapped roughly and done so that nobody alive would be able to see it. He doesn't want to scare people into thinking that he is infected.
Other: Mostly modern, but learned about honor from his father and Bushido (If you don't know it, its essentially the Japanese equivalent of chivalry). He loves raw fish and will eat raw beef if it is high quality and prepared properly. (He can make sushi and prepare the beef to eat it raw.) The swords he carries around with him are more important than LIFE to him. If he were to lose one of his swords in a swarm of zombies, he would use the other two and attempt to get it back.

She was always the little girl that would follow her older brother around and try to be as good at everything as he was.
Background: She was born in Japan right before her family left. She followed her brother in sword weilding but never got as good as he did. With an innocent, pure detail to this little girls face, it would be hard to see anything bad happen to this sinless child. Her skin is a pale, smooth, almost a pure ivory, contrasting beautifully with her pale blonde hair, in which is a few inches below her elbows, flowing as straight and as smooth as silk. Her eyes are such a light, clear blue, they almost appear to be a light, white-ish grey, with flecks of baby blue along the iris. Her cheeks are painted with a suttle scarlet. She is almost 4'7, very small in size and stature. She retains a very childish look to herself.
Personality: Quick to love and slow to hate, Larkyn could be thought of beautifull on the inside and out. She is very mature for her age, and rarely engages in childish activity.
